You remember when I said sex might have rekindled something that I thought was buried in the core of the earth? Maybe it hadn't he had just put his filthy hands on my father. That was unforgivable. That one I could tell he was guilty even before dad gave us the story. He was violent even though he had never laid his hands on me, Blake was a former street kid, synonymous with all kinds of violence and drug abuse. Something’s didn't just change and go away no matter how much we try to believe people, if they did it once they can do it again. That morning it occurred to me that I was wrong about everything.

Wrong about buying a blender from his shop, about using it recklessly and going back in there again. I was totally wrong agreeing to go on that stupid date with him in his office and letting my heart decide for me.
