Chapter 08

   Michael's POV

I ran quickly like a mad man into the heavily guarded mansion, where Erika lives. I got a call from Arabella last night, she told me that Erika had been in an accident, I couldn't stop myself from hurrying over, when I got to the living room, I was directed by the maid to Erika's room when I got to her room, I found her laying on the bed with bandages rounding her head ,and Arabella was also with her, I hurried over to sit beside her on the bed, and i tried to coax her, I was welcomed by a very high temperature from the pale looking body, I exclaimed in anger.

“What the hell happened to her? How did it happen? Do you know what happened, I ask a series of questions directed at Arabella.

“I don't know, but according to the reports given by the guards who went with her, they say she was attacked by some masked individuals.

“(I interrupted before she finish her lines) get the fucking guards, how could they allow her to get hurt? What were they doing while she was attacked? Go get them now.” I roar in anger.

“Calm down Michael, it's not ault you know how Erika gets when she gets angry. She sent them away and the criminal seize the opportunity to attack before they could do something in fairness, they were still her saviors, I lied

“And what the doctor? Have you called him? 

“I replied, nodding my head, and he didn't ask any more questions.

    Alex POV

The meeting with the producers finally came to an end, and we reached an agreement, I'm gonna start shooting for the commercials as soon as possible to avoid lawsuits

When I had a glimpse of my watch, it was almost lunch, I am sure Jenelle and Nicks would get ma, if I don't get to the restaurant on time I can't afford to infuriate them after what I have done to hurt their feelings.

I put a call across to my driver and he came running immediately, hums one of the reasons I like him, he is a reliable personality. We took off to the restaurant, well I have to get there before them. That's why lm leaving earlier than scheduled I guess, they will even scold you for their actions and now that they are mad at me, they will use every bit of offense to blackmail me.

   Erika Pov

When I woke up from my pretentious sleep I found him sitting close to me on the bed, I threw my hands around him and engulf him in a warm embrace while pretending to still be scared from the fake attack, he didn't protest instead he coaxes me, hoping to calm me down. Oh, this feeling is awesome, I am enjoying it.

Arabella came into my room with a bowl of hot soup, and I struggle to sit up and feed myself, I groan in pain making my effort futile, Michael took the soup from Arabella and feed me after eating he gave me a couple of painkillers that Arabella had brought, he watched till I fell asleep then he told Arabella that he had to take care of, he will visit again soon then he left.

   Arabella Pov

Bemused by her action, I watched as Erika pulls off her role, she is a bitch, she pulls away from the duvet her and steps out of the bed laughing hysterically after Michael left.

“Did you see how concerned and scared Michael was about me? She asked with a grin on her face.

“Yeah, I did, and you were excellent with your pretense I can't believe you planned everything just to get his attention drawn to you.”

“ I had no better choice than to do, this is one secret that I found that works on him, and going to use it to my advantage,” she replied with a malicious look on her face.

“And you think, he will love you by pretending to get attacked and getting stitched up? Rachael queries with a disgustful look on her angry face.

And what do you think will happen when he found out about your little game of hiding and seek? She queries.
