Chapter 59

Alina sat at her desk in her room. A blank piece of paper in front of her and her pen in her hand.

Her training session would soon begin but she had time to kill and the guilt pressing down on her chest was starting to become suffocating.

She thought about Talia and hand moved, she started writing before she could think much of it.

Dear Talia,

I don't know why I'm writing this. You're dead so can't read it but I need to say these things anyway.

I hated you for dying, and for leaving me to take your place. You got to escape while I had to marry that monster.

But I miss you so much it hurts.

Alpha Talone is everything you feared he'd be. Worse, maybe. He doesn't see me as a person but as something he owns.

There are nights I wake up with his hands on me and I can't breathe or do anything but survive.

I wish you were here and I wish I could tell you everything.
