The sound of the door opening broke them apart, he moved back to his chair while she leaned against the table. Zane entered but halted once he saw Darius sitting in Amoy's office, a look of surprise crossed his face but he quickly hid it as he faced Amoy.
"Zane, what do you need?" She asked him walking back to her chair taking a seat. "I was going to walk you to your first meeting since I'll be there too." Darius couldn't tell if that was the truth or a clever lie to cover up what he really came here for.
"No need, Darius will walk me." She told him wanting this conversation to be over fast, she could tell Darius wanted the same as he was shooting daggers at Zane which made her wonder, was he jealous? She quickly shook that thought away turning back to Zane.
