Kaylan's heart continued beating faster as she walked towards the room and finally got to the door. The guards were there as usual and she sought for a way to talk without getting her voice cracked up.
"Good day, Princess" the guards bowed and greeted immediately.
"Y..yeah, good day. Um.. Is the King in? He called for me" she gulped nervously.
"Oh, yes. Please hold on" one of the guards went in announced her presence to Lincoln, returning shortly.
