Roseline rushed to stand in front of the window.
"Oh! How do I get home Martha? It's raining so heavily" she asked worriedly, looking out the window and immediately, Martha joined her.
"Well, if you can't go home today, you might just spend the night here. Right?" She asked with a shrug.
"What? You should know I can't, Martha. I lied to my father I was only taking a walk with you and he's only going to end up being so worried when I don't get home. So, sleeping here isn't an option, Martha" she explained.
"Urgh! Fine, then. Let's just wait and pray the rain subsides soon" she answered and walked away, leaving Roseline in dismay.
