POV Seraphina

The night sky was clear and bright, illuminated by the full moon that hung high above like a silver coin. But beneath that beautiful sky, the atmosphere in the Silver Peak Pack was chaotic and loud with celebration.

Music thumped rhythmically, shaking the very ground. Laughter and chatter filled the air, mixed with the clinking of expensive wine glasses. The entire courtyard had been transformed into a magical wonderland, decorated with thousands of glowing lanterns, fresh flowers imported from distant lands, and silk drapes in royal colors.

It was supposed to be the perfect day.

The wedding day of Alpha Kaelen and his new bride, Valeria.

From a distance, standing at the edge of the woods, I watched everything with eyes that felt nothing. No anger, no sadness, just a cold, hollow emptiness that was slowly filling with dark satisfaction.

"They look happy, don't they?" a deep voice spoke softly beside me.

I turned my head slightly. Alpha Ryan was standing there, dressed in a long, black velvet coat that shimmered under the starlight. He looked breathtakingly handsome, but his expression was stern, his icy blue eyes fixed on the stage where Kaelen stood.

"They are living in a fool's paradise," I replied calmly, my voice smooth like silk but carrying an edge of steel. "Let them enjoy their laughter now. Soon, they will be crying tears of blood."

Ryan looked down at me, and his expression softened instantly. He reached out and gently adjusted the diamond necklace resting on my collarbone.

"You are ready, my Queen?" he asked, his voice filled with respect and adoration.

"I was born ready," I whispered back.

I took a deep breath, and instantly, the air around me seemed to warp and twist. The pressure I had been holding back began to seep out. It was heavy, suffocating, and absolute.

"Open the gates," I commanded.

The sound of roaring engines cut through the music.

VROOOOOM!!!

Everyone in the courtyard froze. The music stopped abruptly. The laughter died instantly.

All heads turned toward the massive iron entrance gates.

Slowly, majestically, the gates swung open wide. And driving through them, moving at a slow, terrifying pace, was a convoy of vehicles that looked like they belonged to kings.

At the front were motorcycles ridden by masked warriors in black armor. And in the center, gliding silently over the red carpet, was a limousine made entirely of black obsidian glass, reflecting the moonlight like a dark mirror.

The car came to a perfect stop right in front of the main stage.

A hush fell over the crowd. A heavy, suffocating silence. The aura emanating from the vehicle was so dense that even the strongest warriors found themselves dropping to one knee, trembling uncontrollably. They could feel it. They could feel that a God had just arrived in their midst.

The door opened.

First, a slender leg covered in silk stockings stepped out, followed by the other. They were long, elegant, and perfect.

Slowly, I emerged from the darkness of the car.

I was wearing a gown the color of fresh blood. It was designed to hug every curve of my body, flowing down to the floor like liquid fire. The neckline was daring, showing just enough skin to be mesmerizing, yet covered with intricate silver embroidery that glowed faintly.

My hair was styled in loose waves, cascading down my back, and on my head rested a simple but elegant silver circlet.

But it was my face that captured everyone's breath.

I lifted my chin, letting the moonlight hit my features fully. My skin was flawless, pale as snow, contrasting beautifully with my dark red lips. And my eyes... my eyes were the most terrifyingly beautiful thing there.

One eye was the color of molten gold, and the other was the color of deep, endless crimson.

"Who... who is that?" whispers started to spread like wildfire through the crowd.

"She... she looks like a Goddess..."

"My wolf... my wolf is bowing down instinctively! Who is she?!"

I ignored them all. My heels clicked rhythmically against the marble floor—Click... Clack... Click... Clack—each sound echoing loudly in the dead silence, marking my march toward destiny.

I walked straight toward the stage.

Up there, Kaelen was standing frozen. His mouth was hanging open, his face had lost all color, turning as pale as a sheet of paper. His eyes were wide, bulging out of their sockets, staring at me as if he had just seen a ghost.

Beside him, Valeria was clutching her chest, looking terrified. Her illusions were already starting to crack under the pressure of my power.

I stopped right at the foot of the stairs. I looked up at them, tilting my head slightly to the side, a cold, merciless smile playing on my lips.

"Good evening, everyone,"

My voice was soft, melodic, yet amplified by my power so that it reached every corner of the venue, clear as a bell.

"I apologize for interrupting such a... joyful occasion."

Kaelen finally found his voice, though it came out as a broken croak.

"Y... You..." He pointed a shaking finger at me. "Impossible... This is impossible! You are dead! I threw you into the Death Forest! You should be dead!!"

I let out a soft chuckle, stepping up one stair. Then another.

"Dead?" I questioned, my eyes flashing dangerously. "Oh, my dear Kaelen. Do you really think something as trivial as death could stop me? Do you think hell would dare to keep someone like me?"

I reached the top of the stage now, standing face to face with the man who had destroyed my life.

"I did not die," I said, my voice dropping an octave, cold and deadly. "I was reborn. I went away to become something you could never even dream of achieving. I went away to become your worst nightmare."

Valeria shrieked, trying to regain her composure but failing miserably. "Guards! Guards! Seize her! Kill her! She is a witch! She is a monster!"

"Silence," I commanded simply.

I didn't even lift my hand. Just a flicker of my eyes sent a powerful shockwave that knocked Valeria backward, making her fall on her butt on the floor, groaning in pain.

I turned my gaze back to Kaelen, who was still staring at me in awe, horror, and something else... something that looked like regret and longing.

"You look surprised to see me, husband?" I mocked the title. "Or are you surprised to see how much I have changed? How much more powerful, how much more beautiful I am than the woman you threw away?"

I walked closer to him, invading his personal space, letting him feel the heat of my power burning his skin.

"Five years ago, you told me I was weak. You told me I was trash. You killed my children and threw me away."

I paused, letting the weight of my words crush him.

"But look at us now, Kaelen. Look at who is standing on top, and who is about to fall."

I raised my hand slowly, pointing at the entire pack, at the decorations, at him.

"I told you I would return. And I told you that when I do, I would not let you breathe easily."

A wicked smile spread across my face.

"So, consider this my wedding gift. The end of your world."
