Keith knocked on the door as he caught his breath. He's been running for hours, fearing to get caught again by the palace guards. Carolyn opened the door and widened her eyes when she saw his state. "What happened to you, Keith?! Have you been running?"

Keith nodded and breathlessly asked her to let him come in. He walked inside and hurried to fill a jar with water from the wooden barrel.
