Chapter 57

Seth's POV

I knew that Darcy was relieved now that she was with Alexander. I wish my dad would be worried about me in this manner, but sadly, he's not. He just wants me to do his bidding and make him enough money for him to squander on whores and the gang members.

The thoughts of how my childhood turned out haunt me, and I don't want that for Alexander. I mean, he's still young and filled with life. When I was his age, I was forced to beat and force everyone my age to fear me, which was why I only had Carlos by my side.

The world's now developed, and after going to find Darcy and her son, I have a new perspective on life. It's not just about the guns, the battles, brothels, whores, cash, and all.
