SCREAMS AND ROARS

While on the rooftops of skyscrapers guarding the world, he thought of the event that transpired between them. Just when he had planned to make the night a perfect one for both of them, he screwed it. Inasmuch as he wanted to criticize himself, he saw reasons for leaving at that point in time. It was his duty after all as the vigilante of earth to attend to all those screams and roars ringing in his ears every passing moment. But he blamed himself for the approach he used, he ruined his happiness as well as hers. He was dumb after all, like she said. Few minutes after he has calmed the roars, he came back hoping to find her still awake and perhaps make up for his messy attitude. But he found her asleep on the bamboo couch after her futile attempts to find her way back to the mansion.
