Steve sat down at his table eagerly waiting for Mike to arrive. His take had not yet been served. The chair opposite him was empty. Mike was going to fill up the vacancy when he arrived. But he was already taking too much time to arrive. What was keeping him? Chief Joe paced with his head full of thoughts. For the past few minutes, he had not done anything that would point directly at any individual who would likely be involved in the chain of events that ensued the previous night. When he had assembled all the kitchen related staff, he specifically ordered those that were on duty during the hours of the previous night to remain while the others left. Now, they were all standing before him with their faces bent down. Could it be the guilt of their actions or they were just afraid? If it was guilt, there was possibly no way all of them would be involved in the incident. So , why were their faces all looking worked up? Media vans we're all over the place in front of the gate of the white house of the United States of America. The crowd that had come to protest had not gone. Rather, it was the opposite . Though they were not able to meet the demands of the chief of the United States Secret Service, they still refused to return to their homes as was said by chief Christopher Balor. Instead of returning home, their numbers just increased tremendously. More citizens were already joining the crowd. Rick was just seated staring at the computer screen. That was all he had been to do for a couple of years of his life. At some point , it became a very boring life for him. From morning till night on most days, he just spent almost all the hours sitting before a system and typing the appropriate commands. Life outside that was a rare one for him. Alabama was indeed a great place for anyone to be. Agent Wills had not had anything to do with Alabama in the past. But he had heard wonderful stories about Alabama. Amongst all he heard about Alabama, the well pointed out ones were the hospitality that its people were said to show everyone, the beautiful gulf coast beach . One major point being the different varieties of foods it had been said to have. Agent Wills was not there for the tour. If not, he would love to go and have a little glimpse at the beautiful gulf coast beach. Or perhaps take out a good time to have a good breezy evening walk through the area. Agent Wills knew life had other things that could spice it up . But the nature of the job that he did had become a serious limiting factor to a certain level of excitement and fun-filled days he would have loved to create for himself.
