Ethan’s POVI walk into the prison and Mason is standing there with his forehead pressed against the bars. He doesn’t notice me yet so I just wait to hear what else they have to say. Ethan’s POVWithout wasting time, I carry her down from there and check her pulse. It is very faint which is not good. I don’t walk to the hospital, I place her in one of my cars and drive down at breakneck speed. When I reached the hospital I did not even park well, I rushed inside with her in my arms, screaming for them to attend to her and it’s an emergency. Dr. Griffin walks out from a patient’s room looking like he is about to fall but he still rushes to me. One of the nurses brings out a stretcher and she’s rolled into the emergency room. I was not allowed to go in with her. I went to my sister’s room to tell her what was going on and I mindlink Mason to check on the rogue girl. “Alpha, I am helping, Mia. Is it okay if Gregory does it instead?” He asks. “I prefer you to check on her. All you have to do is just check if she is okay. I chained her outside the prison just in case the prison chooses today to collapse due to the fire. Then please move her back to her cell.” I say.

Ethan’s POVI don’t have enough time to cancel the darts. Three connect with different parts of her neck and she releases the boy. He is wise enough to run to me without me saying it. It doesn’t take long for her to collapse to the ground. Someone within us is definitely working with her but what are they up to? Ethan’s POVI place her phone back just as she left it —that’s if you can even call it that. Her shower is still on even after I shut her room door. “Alpha, I’ve been attacked. There are some rogues here.” Gregory’s distressed voice reaches me through the mindlink. Without wasting time, I’m down the flight of stairs and out the house. While on my way to the part of the border where he is I mindlink Mason and some of the other warriors, they’re already close to him. I shifted to wolf form to increase my speed. On getting there, the rogue is knocked out, Gregory is deeply wounded and barely conscious. We take him to the pack hospital where he’s attended to.
