The forest breathed again. It no longer whispered of war or clung to the scent of blood. Where ashes once fell, flowers had begun to grow like even the land itself was learning to heal. The trees had begun to reclaim the space they’d lost, the rivers and the air, for the first time in generations, didn’t taste of fear. It tasted of life and of new beginnings.

But peace was never silent, and rebuilding required so much more. At the edge of the restored stronghold, Lyon stood with his hands tucked behind his back, watching the walls rise stone by stone. Wolves of all ranks worked side by side, laying the foundation for something new. There were no commands, no titles spoken aloud. There was no hierarchy of control. There was only rhythm and unity.

The work didn’t feel like labor, it felt like healing. Behind him, Isabella approached slowly, holding two cups. She didn't need to say anything. She knew the weight of silence better than anyone else.

    The kingdom was at peace once again and every pack had begun to rebuild with the help of their respective Alphas. Lyon had addressed the people the day before and he had left them all to begin to rebuild their packs. He stood watching the members of his own pack as he had finally brought about the unity of all the packs. Life had once again returned to normal. Children were running around playing. Even the air smelled of fresh flowers. The kingdom had been restored but in all of the life that had returned, Lyon still felt left out in his own kingdom. He stood watching everyone from the balcony of his bedroom. For once in months he could see a beautiful sight of the streets that were now clean, and the rivers shining under the bright morning sun. And still he was missing something. Lyon had only been about the kingdom for as long as he could remember. Each day, for years, had been filled with duty for the kingdom.     There was a strange kind of peace in the kingdom the next day. The signs of the war could still be seen on the streets. The people though were more relaxed now than before.There were remains of burnt buildings. They were the reminders of battles fought and won. Even the battlefield had begun to slowly show signs of growth. All the land and its people were starting to heal. The activities were livelier than usual although there were still a few occasions where the events of the past made them seem like they were holding back.Lyon stood in the royal gardens, observing the activities and looking round the kingdom. He could still feel the power in him strongly. It was a connection that he could never break free from. It was what tied him forever to the kingdom, the people and the land.
