The field was scorched but eerily still. The air smelt of blood and burnt earth. The camp was eerily calm, there was no sound of celebration of victory. Injured wolves limped around, helping one another and dragging their dead bodies through the wreckage on the battlefield. The crack in the earth has been sealed
