Atlene's POV

I laid on the bed in my room, trying not to toss lest it made my injuries hurt even more. But it was easier said than done. I was anxious and nervous and he was becoming incredibly hard for me to lie still like Pack nurse had ordered. I kept listening, glancing at the door, waiting for Scarlett to come in and see me. It was an unrealistic to be waiting for I knew but I couldn't help it. After all, she did order the Pack nurse to attend to my wounds first, surely that must count for something or show that she might care for me at least a bit.

I smiled when I remembered how Scarlett had intervened just when Atlas was about to land me a blow. From my point of view as a fighter and if I was to he completely honest with myself, if Atlas' punch had actually made contact with me, I would have been seriously hurt and probably be in a worse shape than I was right now.
