CHAPTER 13

She left early for home. She had trouble sleeping. She didn't know if her parents were still at her Aunt Ellen's place or if they had come home. She spent the entire night attempting to memorize the explanation to offer to her parents, but she was still at a loss for words as of this moment.

She could not be honest with them. She could not say that she had met the man at the party and that something had happened between them that same evening.

Come what may...

She was still hesitant to enter as she stood in front of their wooden gate. She didn't arrive until ten in the morning. Before opening their gate, she closed her eyes.

Outside their home, she noticed clothes lying around.

Those are her belongings and clothes!

They were simply strewn on the floor next to a huge empty bag. What she saw made her worry even more. Even if her parents didn't know what had happened, she knew they would be angry with her. What she didn't expect was that she would be kicked out of the house because of it
