There is only so much patience that one can endure before they feel the urge to pull their hair out. Nora knew that what she had done was ambitious to say the least. She had looked in the eye of what was supposed to be some sort of a supreme leader and She had basically told him that she didn’t care. that she was well aware of what they were doing.
She knew that it would get her killed but she also knew that Zoran wasn’t willing to risk it .Essentially she had poisoned the fountain. it was his one source of power aside from the orb. It was something that he still didn't fully understand how to use, the truth was that she was the only one who could uncover its secrets and now without the fountain they were at a disadvantage. It wasn’t only Zoran who relied on its power but the coven as a whole. She wasn’t sure how to feel about it. Being responsible for it but she wasn’t going to apologize for what she had done. It wasn’t her fault. They had made their bed and it was time for them to lay in it. She let out a sigh as she sat in the chair. They had strapped her down and locked her way in the cage like a rabid animal.. She knew that Zoran was in a panic but she also knew that he was going to be willing to risk his own life by killing her.
She was connected to the orb and she could tell that he could see that as well. They both didn’t know how exactly but she was willing to bet that it was because she was the one who had found it. With its power connected to her at the moment she was the only one who was going to have any access to magic. It put their coven at a disadvantage amongst other witches as well as the rest ofthe supernatural community. She knew that the thought of him being vulnerable left Zoran in a panic and that he would be looking for any chance for him to get to the bottom of it and to the bottom of her.
She had been locked in for the past two days now and she had barely had any access to water. She knew that it was their chance to weaken her resolve but she wasn’t going to allow them to see that. She tried to keep her cool as she tried to keep a small smile on her features. She was pulled out of her wavering thought when the door at the corner of the room was pulled open suddenly as she let out a sigh from her lips as she watched Zoran step into the room. He was wearing an oversized coat and in her hazy vision she could tell that he seemed to have aged since she last saw him.
No one knew how old he really was and his age was a large mystery, it was well known amongst the people that he used his abilities to keep himself refreshed and youthful.“Well, look who it is.” He said as he sighed before lowering himself to her level. “You are quite a pain in my behind, I should have killed you when I had the chance. He said and he watched as he spat in the ground in front of her before standing up to his feet once more “now since you are there only one who has access to the crystal then that means that I can’t kill you right new. Not until in knew how to unlink you to it and link it to me instead., but until then I will enjoy the torture very much. It seems to have been long overdue. “he said with a grin and she could not help but gulp.
She watched as he moved to the corner of the room as he pulled a trolley out and then made his way over towards her. She looked towards him in panic and he seemed to notice that as a grin made its way onto his face. “I see you are afraid that you should be. He said and without warning she watched as he pulled out a knife. It was coated in silver and it looked like sawdust. Without warning he plunged it deep into her thigh causing her to let out a loud cry of pain. She felt her eyes water as she felt rage go through her. “stop!” she seethed through fritter teeth.
He only let out a laugh as he stared at her blankly. “no you brought this on yourself. You have left me defenseless.” He said and she watched with disgust as he lifted the blade to his lips and licked it. She watched him hum as his body glowed slightly. “well I dee how you can be of use to me. my theory was right, You have the orb going through your veins and with enough of your blood then I am going to have to pull it out of you.” he said with a bright grin and she felt her body tremble at the very thought.
She didn’t want to think about how much of her blood would be enough for him and the thought brought dread to her. She knew that she wasn’t going to allow him to get a reaction out of her. She watched as he retrieved a blood bag and a syringe. She tried to struggle in the chair as he brought it closer to her. She stayed still so I can get this done the quicker I do it the quicker I can leave you alone.” He spoke to her and before she could respond she watched as he injected the syringe into her arm and connected it to the blood bag.
She watched with horror as her blood that was once a deep red was now tinted with sparkles of blue. she watched as it began to flow through the bag and she gulped at the sight. She knew that there was nothing that she could do about it and she feared what he would do with her blood. “You should be happy. You will be the one responsible for ushering this group into the next era of our coven.” He said and she heard him let out a sigh, she felt dizzy and slightly light headed as she began to struggle to see clearly.
Just as she was about to pass out he leavened down to her level with a smile. “You should prepare, this is just the beginning.”
His heart was racing against his chest. He could smell the thick smoke that surrounded him. His heart beat frantically as he tried to make out the scene that was around him. But he couldn’t see anything. He watched as a moment later the room was illuminated with light and he wished that he could go back and make it stop.He was met with the sight of the packhouse on fire. He was on his knees as he heard several screams coming from inside the house. He looked towards it frantically as he saw several silhouettes through the glass. He felt his heart race as he tried to get up but he was weak. He felt the whisper in his ear as he tried to say what it was. He didn’t want to think too much about it as she tried not to be bothered by it all as he let out a sigh from her lips as he tried to make his way over towards it. He huffed as he ducked it in and tried to make himself calm.He let out a sigh from his lips at the very thought as he tried to calm himself. He heard his name being called fr
Samuel was nervous. He woke up with a deep pounding in his head early in the morning and he wasn’t sure how to react. It was from his Alpha and he made it clear that it was urgent that he came over. He felt his heart beating frantically against his chest as he raced to his feet in a rush to find out exactly what it was that the alpha wanted. He wouldn’t put it past him if it was to go on another errand run for the Luna. Although everyone around them seemed to have the Luna , he wasn't entirely her biggest fan. He didn’t know why and he couldn’t quite put his finger on it but he had never really settled well with the fact that the alpha had chosen her as his mate rather than waiting for his actual mate.It wasn’t his place to say anything but his believed mates were a sacred thing and they weren’t something that was meant to be messed with. It was as though he was throwing away all the principals that their pack was built upon and no one seemed to care. Everyone else seemed to love her
He watched as her head fell back against the chair as the girl fell unconscious. He had today that there was a part of him that was slightly impressed that she was able to make it this long. At least that was how he felt. He let out. A sigh from his lips as he shook his head at the thought and tried to keep himself composed. He turned to the side and looked towards Trent before gesturing for him to move closer. “I want her packed up and put back in her cell. One meal for today. I don’t need her dyeing on me just yet, I haven’t gotten enough blood that I want. I am going to need more. “ he said and he watched as the figure beside him trembled slightly as his hands shook. He wondered what it was but he didn’t bother to say anything to him.“Well, I wanted to ask you, sir. how much longer are you going to keep her here.” He asked and he couldn’t help but grit his teeth at the sheer audacity of the man. “It doesn't matter what I want. You will do as I say. .now pick her up and so as you a
“Well, we need one of your healers to come with me to my pack. My alpha is willing to pay his weight in gold in order for your best healer to come along with us. Also if you would be so kind I would need someone to help me with this wound.” The man said Zoran didn’t show the sympathy that the man had expected. Instead he looked towards him with a calculating gaze as he placed his hand in his chin and appeared to be deep in thought.“So what would you then be offering? You say that you are going to do all these things but the truth is that we don’t need gold. We have more than enough of it. In fact we have witches who can make their own gold.” he said to him barely. “Well if you give us the right witch I am certain that the alpha is willing to pay any price.” He said and that only caused Zoran to grin brighter. He didn’t like the tone that his words were taking and he had to admit that he was a fan of desperation as well.He let out a sigh from his lips as he ran a hand through his hai
Nora was brought back to her senses when she felt a loud banging against her head. She groaned as she was able to slowly pull her eye open and found herself sitting in a chair. It was a large office and she realized that it was that of Zoran. She widened her eyes instinctively as she became alert all of a sudden .”Relax, everything is going to be alright.” She heard a voice call out from beside her, she turned to her side as she came face to face with a tall man.He seemed eerily familiar in that moment and she widened her eyes in shock as she let out. A gasp from her lips as she remembered what had happened earlier. How they had come into her cell and pulled her out. Instinctively she turned towards the front as she spotted Zoran sitting in his chair staring at her with great caution in his gaze. she couldn't help but wonder what was going on and what it was that he was playing at. “What is going on here?” she said to herself asking in a shaky voice. she watched as he grinned at h
Nora wasn't prepared to leave. She had been trapped in that basement for over a month because of a rash decision that she had made on a wim.She wanted to tell herself that she felt bad or that she regretted it but the truth was that she didn't. Zoran had been playing with the ends of the people for far too long. And it was time for them to take charge. They were being brainwashed and they hadn't even realized it yet.The only downside was that now she was the only one with any power left in the pack. She was the only one who could descend them as weas heal. She had been taught by the greatest healer in the land and that was her father. She knew most of what he did and much more because she had gotten control of the orb and now it was up to her to gain control of things. She made her way out of her small hut that was positioned in the corner of the land. She couldn't believe that she was finally leaving. When she had pictured herself leaving it wasn't like this. She had thought tha
She could feel their intimidating gazes on her as they made their way through. She could also hear their loud growls coming from all around her.“Don't listen to them. They can't hurt you.” The Beta said to her. She nodded her head at him in response but she wasn't sure about the truth of his words.“Nora is our honored guest and I will implore you to show her some respect.” She heard his voice echo as they came to a stop at the edge of the training area. She watched them scarf as they looked at her with seep glares. “Respect. You speak of respect we should show to those freaks." one spat and before they could react a glass bottle was thrown at her. She was still weak and disoriented and so did not have enough time to dodge it.It shattered on her toes causing her to cry out. The beta placed her behind him instinctively as he bared his teeth. “The next person to say a word I will not hesitate to slit your throat. Adan takes Sinn to the dungeons' '. He roared as he pointed to one of th
His words echoed through the room like an arrow that had pierced the silence. Nora had always had a very funny feeling about love. She would call what she had a love hate relationship. She wasn't one who knew what it would be like to be loved by someone who wasn't her father and she had never thought that she would find someone who would be able or willing to care about her in such a way.She had heard the legend of mates. They were set to be partners that were made and destined for you. Someone that was a half of your soul thatHad been torn away from you. She wasn't one to believe entirely in fairytales and for her the thought of having a mate was one of the largest fairytales of allFor witches they never got the chance to have someone picked for them by god except for the few that were able to get linked to other species. In Fact they found the tphohfhy fickle and thought it to be for those who were shallow minded. It was quite ironic to say the least when she looked back at it n
