"We're almost there," Cameron whispered to the King as he walked from the cockpit. The pilot told him they were just a few miles from the Warmblood pack.

Kanyon decided to fly to their territory and then borrow a vehicle from Alpha Daniel so he could take Jessica to the spot where he found her.

"You think I should wake her up?" Kanyon pulled the blanket up to Jessica's chin. She was lightly snoring with her head resting on his lap.

"Give her a few more minutes," Cam replied as he sat down in the seat before the king. "She's going through a lot, isn’t she?"

"Too much for one person to bear," the king sighed.

Out of nowhere, Cam and the king sensed a shift in the atmosphere when Jessica's body started to tremble.

"Please, Luna! Please, I didn't mean to sleep in!" Jessica screamed, putting her hands up in a defensive position. She flinched. "It hurts. Please stop, Luna. I'm so-sorry," she shrieked in fear.
