"No!" Jessica gasped. Maybe she didn't hear him right. How could the alpha even consider making her his second wife? He must be mad. Luna Magda would probably kill them both before she would be able to even make it to the aisle. Plus, what about Cory? There's no way he would just stand back and let his father marry his mate.

"Yes, little one," Alpha Conroy chuckled. "Don’t look so surprised. You heard me right. I want you to be my wife."

"But you already have a wife and the pack already have a Luna," Jessica tried to reason her way out of this.

"I know all of that, little one and certain things won't change," he explained. "Magda will continue to be Luna of the pack. You will simply be my wife. The one I bring to balls, functions, holidays and such. Magda's place is to stay here and solve various pack problems and make sure the schools and hospitals have supplies."

"So I'll just be eye candy?" Jessica scoffed.

"I wouldn't put it like that," he laughed. "But Magda is twenty years older than me. My only reason for marrying her was to inherit her father's pack. She isn't my true mate."

"And neither am I," Jessica spat.

"I know that, little one," he kissed her cheek, and Jessica recoiled. "But you are beautiful, young, and I believe fertile," he explained, and Jessica's eyes widened when she figured out what the alpha's true intentions were. "I always wanted more pups, but Magda's days of breeding are over. Plus I've never been attracted to her in that way and now that she's older, I can't bear to even look at her saggy, wrinkly skin."

"But I want to marry my true mate and have his pups," Jessica sniffled.

"Aww, sweetheart," he cooed. "Even I wanted to marry my true mate, but I had to reject her because she was an omega and I wouldn't be an alpha today if I didn't."

"You're sick," Jessica spat, trying to get out of his clutches.

"I may be sick, young Jessica, but I'm also your alpha and what I command you to do you will do or else my wolf will have to eat you," his voice got heavy as he spoke in his alpha's tone. He circled his hands around her waist and pressed his nose to the back of her head. He took an enormous breath, filling his lungs with the scent of her hair. "You know, you not only look like her, but you also smell like her."

"Who?" Jessica wondered.

"My mate, silly girl. You look and smell just like her," he hummed, pressing her body firmer on his lap. Jessica could feel his massive hard-on.

Before Jessica could utter a word, the door burst open.

"Conroy, I need to have a word with yo ..." Luna Magda choked on her words and halted. Jessica didn't need her wolf to sense the Luna's fury. With eyes darker than the hour of midnight, Magda displayed canines that sharpened to fierce points. "What the fuck is going on in here?" Magda yelled. She marched over to the couple and grabbed the omega by her neck, pulling her off the alpha's lap. "Get your filthy ass off my husband, you little bitch!" With all her strength, Magda hurled Jessica into the wall, cracking the wooden panels.

Jessica's screams could be heard by everyone with a wolf residing in the pack-house. She fell to the ground, her mouth and nose covered in blood. Magda stalked up to her, her talons out. She raised her palm ready to slice into the little omega's neck, when the alpha held her hand and stopped her.

"That's enough, Magda!"

"Let me go, Conroy!" Magda cried. "I won't be disrespected like this. Not again."

Jessica curled up on the floor, sobbing silently with her hands protecting her head. She wondered what the Luna meant by she won't be disrespected again.

"Pull yourself together, Magda," Alpha Conroy pushed her away from Jessica. "This woman-scorned-thing of yours was cute when you were younger, but now it's getting old, like you."

"I regretted the day I agreed to marry you," she spat.

"Just be grateful that you gave me a son and two daughters or else your head would be on a spike outside."

"I hate you, Conroy Graceland. I hate you so much."

"No you don't. You love me," he mocked her. "You love me so much that you changed your family pack's name to Graceland Pack. You love me so much that you orchestrated to have my true mate and her second chance mate killed because you feared I was gonna leave you for her."

So Jessica’s mother was the alpha’s true mate. No wonder he wants Jessica as a wife if she looks like her mother.

  • THE REJECTED OMEGA IS THE LYCAN KING’S MATE   180: SOMETHING EVIL IS COMING

"My prince," Theodore dropped to his knees, his voice trembling with awe. "It's an honor to meet you. I can't believe I met your father, and now... I'm meeting you."Lazarus blinked, clearly surprised. "You met my father?""Yes," Theo nodded quickly. "We stopped at the Vanderwolf mansion for the Alpha's help in finding Mystic Mountain, and he showed up. He was looking for you. He said you took something that belonged to your stepmother."Lazarus growled low in his throat, a sharp sound that sent shivers down everyone's spine. "So he knows I took the Book of the Gods... Damn him. Did he say anything else?""Not really," Theodore answered. "Only that you left with werewolves and a human.""So that means the Alpha knows we're traveling with a bloodsucker," said a broad-shouldered young man from the far corner of the room. His voice was gruff, but there was a spark of mischief in his eyes. "I'm Valko, the son of the Beta from the Howling Cliffs pack. This here is my sister, Velma, and our

After hours of hiking through the magical forest, the group finally reached the top of Mystic Mountain, and they were worn out. Their bodies ached, their stomachs growled, and even the adrenaline that had fueled their journey so far was starting to wear thin. The once-glowing candy skies had darkened into deep violet. The enchanted beauty around them, while still mesmerizing, was now cloaked in shadow.Every step felt heavier."Remind me again why we didn't pack snacks," Falcon groaned, dragging his feet. "I'm starving.""Didn't you eat enough chocolate dirt and candy clouds?" Theo snapped."I don't think all that forest junk food counts," Falcon muttered."Look," Cameron said suddenly, lifting his arm and pointing ahead. "There's a cabin up ahead.""That must be Opal's place," DJ said, relief evident in his voice. “It’s older than I expected.” "Who cares?" Falcon sighed dramatically. "I just wanna kick these boots off. I really need a foot rub."The group moved forward, but their pa

"So... how did she taste?" Cameron asked, breaking the silence with a sly grin.DJ shot him a look. "Please. Don't start.""Come on," Cam smirked, nudging his shoulder. "We're all friends here."DJ groaned. "Honestly? Salty," he muttered, shaking his head.Falcon burst out laughing. "She tasted exactly how she acts. Salty.”Even Theodore cracked a grin, his normally serious expression softening. Their laughter echoed off the glistening cave walls as they trekked forward, still damp from their dive through the mermaid's secret entrance.Mishell's kiss had unlocked a secret door under the cave that pulled them into the depths when they plunged in. They swam for barely a minute before they emerged inside what felt like the belly of the world. The cave was warm, thick with a soft golden mist that clung to their skin like silk.Everything was eerily silent. No echoes. No dripping water. Just... warmth."Something smells sweet," Theo said suddenly, his vampire senses flaring.DJ sniffed the

They woke just before sunrise, the horizon still wearing a blanket of fog. With the wind nipping at their faces and clouds looming above like a warning, Cameron, DJ, Falcon, and Theodore took off at full speed, tearing across the rugged terrain toward their next destination... The Whistling Cave. The world around them was eerie and quiet, except for the occasional distant crackle of thunder. The air tasted like sea salt and static. There was definitely a storm coming. After racing for nearly an hour, they skidded to a halt just shy of a steep cliff. The sound hit them first, an echo so deafening, it vibrated their skulls. They clutched at their ears as the unnatural screeching reverberated from below."The cave is whistling alright," Cameron said, gulping hard as his eyes watered from the noise.Theo crept to the cliff's edge, his vampiric senses zeroing in on a strange vibration. He motioned for the others. Below, nestled into the jagged cliffs like the gaping mouth of a sea monster,

  • THE REJECTED OMEGA IS THE LYCAN KING’S MATE   176: THE ROGUE KING

The vampire king had barely vanished into the mist when Cameron and the others prepared to set out. The rising tension left a crackling charge in the air, like lightning just waiting for a place to strike."We have to go now, Alpha. Thanks for everything, and I hope you find your son soon," Cameron said sincerely."Thank you," Nolan replied with a brief nod, his gray eyes still trailing after the space where Dracula had stood."We'll keep an eye out," DJ added. "Maybe we'll run into them on the way."They exchanged brief farewells, and without another word, the four left the Vanderwolf estate behind. The world beyond the pack mansion grew dense and alive, the trees towering like ancient sentinels. Their path twisted deeper into Wolffang Woods, guided only by the map Nolan had given them earlier. The forest thickened quickly, the sunlight dimming behind thick canopies of pine and maple.Falcon groaned as he stumbled over a root. "I can't believe I had to leave my suitcase of goodies be

  • THE REJECTED OMEGA IS THE LYCAN KING’S MATE   175: THE ORIGINAL

The sun barely kissed the horizon as Alpha Nolan and Luna Peaches stood proudly at the front gates of the pack mansion, preparing to bid farewell to their guests. Their beta, Valor, and his elegant mate stood beside them, offering supportive smiles and well wishes.Everything was going smoothly until the sound of boots on gravel interrupted the calm."Howdy, neighbor!" a loud, cheery voice rang out.Nolan turned, instantly recognizing the pudgy, red-faced human man huffing toward them from the guest house. Paul, his overly friendly human neighbor, who always smelled of expensive cologne and cookies, waddled over, waving."Paul," Nolan nodded, masking his irritation with forced civility. "Something I can help you with?"Paul rubbed the back of his neck, awkwardly glancing at Peaches before speaking. "Yeah, I was wondering if you've heard from the kids. Melissa and I haven't heard a peep from Miranda. All her calls are going straight to voicemail. It's been three days. Shouldn't they be
