"Hey! Sorry I'm late!"

Janet jerks me back to reality. I must have been hallucinating. 

I smile nervously. "It's fine." 

There's a tall, okay-looking guy with golden hair, walking behind her. He then takes a seat beside me. 

"This is Vincent," Janet introduces him. "He's the co-founder of Jinx Publishers. Vincent, this is the writer I was telling you about. Mila..." 

He smiles at me. "Nice to meet you, Mila."

"Nice to meet you too, Vincent."

And the meeting kicks off.

I'm driving back home in the afternoon. 

The meeting went very well. Better than u expected. The publishing team is offering me a very good deal all thanks to Ramon.
