CHAPTER 4

The Night i still Trusted Him

Vivian POV

I came back early today because I am happy and excited waiting for my husband.

and the next thing a car drove into the mansion and i knew it my husband he came out from the car and i rush outside to hug him and he quickly carried me

“He said” Congratulation baby once again

“with joy and happiness “thank you, honey.”we both went inside.

And secondly, I got a call this afternoon on my way back from work. I have a business trip.

His smile faded, I hated to see the way his face fell in sadness, but I needed to do this. I have been pining for this project for a very long time to abandon it now.

“Honey,” he said, dropping me down so I stood on my feet looking up at his crestfallen face, my hands still wrapped around his body tightly.

“First thing tomorrow I will start going tomorrow, it’s for four  days. I will come back soon.”

“I’ll miss you” he bent his head to the crook of my neck to inhale me. I felt the very second the relief smacked him. His hands tightened around me like he was trying to merge me with him while murmuring sweet nonsense to me.We ate our meals, laughing over silly jokes and teasing each other, trying to lighten the mood.

“I’m going to miss you baby” he slipped his arm around my waist.

“It's only a few days right?” He asked again.

“Yes it is honey.” I said resting my head against his chest. Listening to his steady heartbeat.

“I'll be counting the days.” I chuckled, “me too.” He picked me up and took me upstairs.

“Baby I want to feel you before you travel.”

“You look so perfect right now with those sexy night wears.“he said

“Tell me what you want,” I asked.  We were in our bedroom now.

“Please, I want to feel my beautiful wife right now.” He begged, grabbing my hand, he pulled me towards him. His hand settled gently on my waist as he pulled me closer. Our lips clashed in a slow and tender kiss, savouring the sweet feeling and saving everything we couldn’t express.

“You know i hate saying goodbye” he whispered against my lips.

“We’re just getting started”

“You are driving me crazy baby “he said softly.

I moan into his mouth, my hands gripping his hair a little too tight. My whole body burned for his touch, with the need to be filled completely. My greedy pussy clenched so tight demanding attention. His fingers moved lightly over my pant clad clitoris while my nightie was still on.

“Ahhh fuck.” I moaned as he thrust two of his fingers into me, the expression on his face when he heard my moan was worth it. He kept thrusting his fingers till I was bouncing on his fingers, chasing that high. My toes coiled and my belly knotted, just one more touch and I’ll combust. The fingers stopped.

“Adrain, what the fuck?” I asked in anger and frustration. He ignored, extracting his fingers from my horny hole. He tied my leg to the side pole of the bed and tied the other leg to the other post. My pussy was on full display, he knelt on the bed staring at it, his eyes dark from lust. His chest heaving as he watched my slutty hole clench and unclench under his gaze.

I wasn't given a warning before he dived down and captured my clit and pussy in his mouth. “Adrainnnnn,” I moaned gasping as he fucked me with his tongue while rubbing at my pussy. A finger joined in the sweet torture, I put my hands on his hair pushing his head deeper my back arced from the bed. Oh heavens, this was ecstasy. My toes curled down ward, I lifted my head off the pillow to look at him. He removed his boxer and ohh what a “Baby, you’re my sweetest addiction.

You own me, body, mind and soul. I’m yours.” He growled at my pussy, the vibration sending me over the edge. Hearing those words from him while eating me out undid me to the core, I was a soft and satisfied mess.

“We still haven’t gotten to the main part, my darling.” He chuckled and dived back to eating me. The night was going to be long, and I was going to be a puddly mess and be sore for days. Maybe sore till I'm back from my three day business trip.

Morning came and I awoke to my husband wrapped around me like a second skin.

I was leaving today to London for the inspection, I needed to be there on time. A good first impression goes a long way, but my body wasn’t a part of that. I ached all over, my pussy was sore and tender. I dragged myself from the bed and got into the bathroom to freshen up. Adrian followed me at the tail like a lost puppy hugging me from behind.

“I’m going to miss you so much,” he said resting his head on my shoulders staring at my face from the mirror.

“I’m going to miss you too baby” I said and turned around in his arms to look at him. “I packed your bag for you while you were sleeping, so you only need to eat and move.” I stood up on my toes to place a kiss on his lips “thank you hunie” I said against his lips. “Oh come up Vee, you can do better than that. Kiss me like you mean it” I chuckled “why don’t you show me?” My heart was bursting at the seams, full of love. He bent lower to deepen our kiss. “Honey, I’m going to miss you and I can't say you shouldn't go”

“I know baby, I’ll be back before you know I want to spend more time with you, so we’re bathing together” I chuckled and shrugged my shoulders as I couldn't talk at the moment.

We went under the shower together, he pulled me closer to himself like he was afraid of losing me.

“Baby” he murmured “Honey” we stayed like that for some time before we stepped out and dried up. He held my hands into the kitchen to beat up a plate of omelette.

“Hope you have not forgotten anything”

I nodded with a smile.

“Don't forget to call me once you get there and secondly please don't skip your meals.”

I smile, yes my darling husband, I promise I will.

“You know is my job to worry about you because I’m your husband”

I walked over and hugged him tightly, he grabbed my neck tilting my head backwards and smashed his lips to mine. He pushed his tongue into my mouth basically fucking my mouth, my pussy pulsed  my knees weakened.

I clung to him like a life saving rope, I felt the slim dripping out of my pussy in waves. Dammit, it was going to be a long leave and i couldn’t wait to be back to be properly fucked. He stopped when we were both out of breath.

“I'll miss you,” I said softly, then he kissed my forehead.” I will miss you more.”

A few minutes later, my driver loaded the suitcase into the car, then i waved one last time to my husband before getting in

“I love you”

“I love you too, have a safe trip.”

Then my phone pop up

A message pops up saying I know everything

do the needful

I was frightened after seeing the message.

  • THE SCATTERED VOW   THE ASHES OF MERCER

CHAPTER 74 THE ASHES OF MERCERVivianThe red LED on the detonator pulsed like a tiny, bleeding heart in Julian’s hand.I couldn't move. My lungs felt packed with wet sand, every instinct in my body screaming at me to run, to scramble back into the dark, but my limbs refused to obey. The man standing ten feet away had carried me on his shoulders when I was five years old. He had sat at my father’s dinner table every Sunday evening, breaking bread, laughing, drinking dark red wine, and promising my dying mother that he would always keep our family safe.It was all blood money. It had always been blood money."You monster," I rasped, my voice barely a whisper against the low, rhythmic hum of the basement boilers.Julian didn't flinch. His expression didn't harden into a sneer or twist into rage. That was the most terrifying part of him—the absolute, soul-crushing absence of malice. He looked at me with the detached, mild sympathy of a banker reading a foreclosure notice."Monster

  • THE SCATTERED VOW   THE CLEANUP PROTOCOL

CHAPTER 73 THE CLEANUP PROTOCOLVivianThe officer’s hand moved to his side holster before the radio static even faded from the air.Every drop of warmth vanished from my blood. The relief that had briefly filled my chest split wide open, replaced by a cold, sickening horror. The flashing blue lights washing over the terrace weren't a rescue. They were a execution squad dressed in kevlar and badges."Adrian!" I screamed.Adrian reacted before the words fully left my lips.He didn't try to stand. From his knees, he lunged forward, throwing his full weight against the officer’s thighs just as the man pulled his weapon clear of the tactical holster. The officer gasped as his legs buckled, his heavy frame crashing sideways into the rain-slicked balustrade. The gun went off—a deafening blast that shattered what was left of the decorative glass doorframe above my head, showering us in tiny, glittering shards."Get behind me!" Adrian roared, scrambling over the slick floor to push him

  • THE SCATTERED VOW   THE EDGE OF THE ABYSS

CHAPTER 72THE EDGE OF THE ABYSSVivianMy fingers locked around Adrian’s wrist a fraction of a second before his grip completely gave out on the wet stone. The weight of his body pulled me flat against the rain-slicked balustrade with a violence that knocked the air entirely out of my lungs. The sharp edge of the masonry bit viciously into my ribs, but I didn't care. I couldn't care. I dug my toes into the cracks between the wet floor tiles, my left hand clinging to his forearm while my right squeezed the hard plastic of the master drive so tightly against my ribs that my knuckles burned white."Vivian... let go!" Adrian’s voice rose through the roaring wind, strained and hollowed out by exertion. He hung in the open air, four stories above the jagged slate courtyard, his boots kicking uselessly against the sheer, vertical face of the stone wall. "You can't hold me! You'll pull yourself over!""Shut up!" I screamed, the rain lashing my face, stinging my eyes until I could barely

  • THE SCATTERED VOW   THE STRUGGLE ON THE TERRACE

CHAPTER 71THE STRUGGLE ON THE TERRACEVivianThe glass doors shattered outward into the freezing night, showering the upper terrace in a sharp hail of crystal.I didn't even have time to scream before the impact hit. Adrian’s body threw itself across mine, shoving me back into the safety of the interior archway just as Matteo’s arm swung wild with the heavy brass lamp he had ripped from the wall. The blow missed my temple by inches, glancing off the doorframe with a sickening thud that sent sparks into the dark."Run, Vivian!" Adrian roared, but there was nowhere left to run.Matteo was already moving. His dark coat whipped in the mountain wind as he stumbled out onto the slick, wet tile of the terrace. Clutched against his ribs was the hard plastic casing of the master drive—the single piece of evidence that held the truth about my father's death, about the corporate syndicate, about every lie that had kept me running for three agonizing years. He was heading for the spiral iro

  • THE SCATTERED VOW   Lorenzo Steps In

Chapter 70Lorenzo Steps InAdrianThere is a specific kind of silence that fills a room right before a life is ruined. It was heavy and thick, choking the air out of my lungs. I stood frozen in the center of the study, my chest rising and falling in ragged, shallow breaths. Three feet away stood Matteo. In his left hand, the small silver flash drive caught the dim light of the chandelier, the only proof we had left. The key to ending all of this. But my eyes weren’t on the drive. They were on the dark, heavy steel of the gun in his right hand. And the barrel was pointed directly at Vivian. She was backed against the heavy mahogany desk, her hands gripping the edge so hard her knuckles were bone-white. She was terrified, but she didn’t scream. She just looked at me. In her wide, dark eyes, I saw everything I had spent the last two years fighting for. I saw the quiet mornings we were supposed to have. I saw a future that didn’t involve looking over our shoulders."Don't do it,

  • THE SCATTERED VOW   Lorenzo Steps In

Chapter 69Lorenzo Steps InVivianLorenzo had told me to sleep. He had kissed my forehead, wrapped a thick blanket around my shoulders, and promised he would be back before the sun came up.But sleep was a luxury I couldn't afford tonight.I sat alone in his massive, dimly lit study. Outside, the rain was coming down in sheets, violently lashing against the floor-to-ceiling windows. The storm swallowed the city, leaving only the sound of water beating against the glass and the low, steady hum of the central heating. Down the hall, just outside the heavy oak doors, six armed security guards stood in total silence. Lorenzo had placed them there to make me feel safe. But I didn't feel safe. I felt a deep, crawling sense of dread that I couldn't shake.I pulled my legs up into the leather chair, pulling the blanket tighter around myself. On the grand mahogany desk in front of me sat a thick, black binder. Lorenzo had brought it from the Dominion archives a few days ago. It was the
