The medicine given by Dr. Hendry apparently succeeded in making Kaleya sleep for quite a while. As the time approached eleven at night, the young pregnant girl had just opened her eyes.

"Oh my goodness!" exclaimed Carista. Her head turned here and there, and she could only breathe a sigh of relief when she saw Silvana sitting on the sofa, reading a book.
