“Have you asked Shai?”

Lucas shook his head as he looked down at the floor. He frustratedly combed his hair between his long fingers, pulling it at the back of his head. It had been hurting since the morning he woke up and found that Eve was gone.

Seeing his reaction, Simon tapped his shoulder. Still, Lucas gave no response.
