Draco placed a finger on my lips to silence me, and that made me nervous. I was glad that he kept holding me as we walked toward the door.

“Fuck!” I heard him mutter under his breath. It was as if he didn’t want me to hear him say that. He then swiftly turned around to face me. “No matter what happens, don’t come out of the room. I’ll be fine.”

I nodded, although I wasn’t sure I could keep that promise because there was no way I would just stand here if it was dangerous for him out there.
