Grayham’s POV

I had to end Mile’s call. I was already pissed off and the last thing I’d do was give him advice he can’t bring to life. I had a rowdy house to deal with and my head was banging.

An old lady had booked the second floor to celebrate her granddaughter’s sixth birthday. She had asked the house to handle the catering activities.

At least, a handful of dollars would come in.

While Jamal was helping Alex to handle the kids upstairs, I volunteered to work at the café. I wasn’t good with kids and the ones here are not an exception. It was either they wanted to paint my face, draw a caricature of me, or ruin my entire day.

At this point, the loud bang in my head had intensified. It was a cold morning yet I was sweating profusely. I was wearing a simple cotton shirt but I was burning inside.

“Two glasses of plain milkshake!” A young girl called out just when I had returned from delivering an order.

I got to the counter and leaned against it. It still surprises me that I’ve been ab

  • THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU    A FIRE!

Mile’s POVI watched Lily grab her bag and then she stepped out of the art theater fuming. I ran after her.“Wait, up”She stopped, took a deep breath, and then turned around to face me with her arms folded across her chest. “Now you’re stalking me?”I chuckled. “You seem to be enjoying the attention I’m giving you lately. Don’t you?”She rolled her eyes after a sigh.“I want us to talk.” I cleared my throat loudly.Lily palmed her forehead dramatically. “Oh, please Grayham. I’m not stupid. I’m very sure there’s a reason why you’re bothering me lately.”I wasn’t sure if I was crossing the line but I think everyone deserves a second chance, especially after the conversation I had with Graham’s Granpa. None of this was Lily’s fault. She didn’t wish to be birthed by a mistress. I’ve been thinking about her situation lately and I don’t mind helping them to patch things up since Grayham was too angry and arrogant to do it.I looked into Lily’s eyes and far from the hostile look she was fi

  • THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU    CHASING CLUES

Mile’s POVWhen I stepped out of Sabrina’s house, I marched straight to the spot where the car was parked. Nathan followed immediately. When I got into the car, I sat in the back seat, threw my hands around my head, and fixed my gaze on the open window.Nathan joined me in the back seat. “Where to?” The driver asked.“Just wait a second,” Nathan responded to him and turned to me. “I’m sorry we didn’t get much information.”I sighed and didn’t take my eyes off the window. When Sabrina spoke about the curse in its exact form, I thought the next thing she would talk about was the solution. I was hopeful and I thought she was going to recommend a portion to be consumed, some spell to cast, or certain people to visit so that I could be free from this body but all she did was leave me with some dumb riddle.‘Until both parties wholeheartedly accept their fate and stay in each other’s world, the curse can’t be broken.’What does that even mean for God’s sake?Am I supposed to accept this s

  • THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU    SETTLING THE DISPUTE

Grayham’s POVThe moment I got to the café, I saw Max rushing toward me.“Hey, there’s a small conflict brewing outside. You might want to check it out before it escalates.” Max reported and immediately turned around. He was waiting for me to follow him.I remained transfixed to my spot. What role will I be playing today? A tribal chief that resolves conflict?Gosh! It was barely 8 am and the last thing I wanted to do was get involved in the lives of everyone here.“Hurry up!” Max couldn’t wait any longer. He dashed out.I sighed and then felt a hand resting on my left shoulder. When I turned around, I saw Alex standing behind me.“Miles used to settle most of the disputes around here.”I jerked away and curled my lips in irritation. “I’m not Miles.”There was no point hiding it anymore since Alex was aware and lately, I noticed that he uses every small chance to tell me what Miles does and doesn’t. Had he ever stopped to ask me what I wanted and the pressure that comes with being som

  • THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU    THE CURSE

Mile’s POVSince Grayham is still mad at me, I didn’t think there was any reason to involve him in today’s quest. I called him so many times but he wouldn't respond. If he was waiting for an apology, then he won’t get any. 20 million dollars isn’t a lot of money judging by his net worth. It’s just like taking a drop out of an ocean and besides thousands will benefit from it so if you look at it, the people won’t have much but enough to compensate for their losses.I kind of feel good though. If he was sensitive and kind, he would be glad I made the move because right now, all news outlets and bloggers are talking about him. Henry also mentioned that certain investors want to partner with the company.Maybe I’m a good businessman after all.Right now, I was seated in the back seat of a cab and was headed towards Nathan’s residence. I’ve been communicating with him in the past few days and he asked me to pick him up in front of his house this morning. I decided to book a ride instead

  • THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU    RAGE!

Grayham’s POVTwo cars pulled up in front of the café. A Bentley and a Range Rover and guess what, both cars are mine.I clenched my jaw and watched two of my bodyguards in sleek suits step out of the Range Rover. Then, they rushed to the Bentley and opened the door to the back seat.Miles emerged from the Bentley in my customized Brioni suit. The anger inside me spread like a burning wildfire and I was already sweating profusely from the impact.Anger, jealousy, and Rage!I watched the live broadcast. All of us who were working at the café at that time saw it. Alex had a small old model television glued to the wall in the café so that was how we watched the news.Miles, fucking Miles donated twenty million dollars in the name of charity. My money! And now, he had the guts to drive down here in my cars, with my security team in the name of paying homage to the affected communities?Crappy insolence! He began taking steps towards us. There was a small crowd gathered in front of the caf

  • THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU    A PRESS CONFERENCE

Mile’s POVWhen I entered the office and sat on Grayham’s comfy chair, an idea struck me like lightning. I immediately beamed and quickly placed a call to Henry via the telephone on the table.A few moments later, he came running through the door. I smiled and sat up with my hands positioned on the table.“You said something about getting the media team?” Henry asked, his tone was etched with confusion.I had told him to come to my office immediately. I had pointed out that I needed him to carry out a task with the media.“Yes. I’m talking about a press conference.” I replied and then raised a finger. “An emergency press conference in like an hour.” I glanced at my watch.Henry hummed. “Okay. I can arrange that. Do you have any media outlets in mind or you’d want us to stick to the ones we always host.”I stood up and immediately left the desk. “I’m not talking about the usual business conference so strike out any business channels.”Henry looked up.“I’d be needing reporters from mai
