Mile’s POV

I stepped out of the limousine and then took charge of my briefcase from Sam.

“I’ll take it inside, sir.” He tried to protest.

“It’s fine. Just head back to your quarters.” I told him and aimed for the building, the briefcase in my hand. I was about to reach the door when Grayham’s Granpa came rushing out. I sighed and hurried toward him.

“Sorry, I’m late. There was so much to do today.” I said and glanced at my wristwatch. “Well, at least it’s seven minutes to dinner time so I’m not that late.” I smiled.

“Forget about dinner.” He waved one hand down. “She’s here.”

“Who?” I tried to look through the entrance.

“Felicia. She’s here. She just dropped by the house an hour ago and she didn’t even mention that she was going to come but you know her.” He said.

“Yeah,” I replied and then turned away.
