Mile’s POV

I wouldn’t want to get into trouble with the people here. I know how defensive they can be especially since Grayham was having my face so when I noticed that their numbers were beginning to increase, I took a step back.

The cab that dropped me off was already gone so I knew I had to trek to the street before getting another cab. I heaved a sigh, turned around, and started walking away.

I was heading for the street when I looked into the shrubs on my right. I noticed the people chopping down the trees. I was irked by the sight but then, something else caught my attention. In the opposite direction, two young men were digging up the soil. Surrounding them were small plants. I stopped and then strode toward them. I stood a few meters away and waved.

“Are you guys planting?” I demanded even though it looked like that was what they were doing.

These were the kind of initiatives Grayham should endorse.

After looking at me from head to toe, one of them volunteered to speak.
