In fact, the alarm buzzer came off later.The ringing of my phone caused me to open my eyes ten minutes before my alarm struck. With my eyes shut, I reached for the ringing phone from the table next to me and responded without checking who the caller was.“Hello,” I mumbled lazily.“Grayham, I can see you’re still asleep,”Her voice was something I could detect from a distance and when she spoke, sleep completely vanished from my eyes.I jumped and immediately pulled the phone away from my ear so that I could confirm whether she was the one who called.“Aunt Felicia!” I called out and then cleared my throat loudly. “Good morning,”“Good morning, Grayham. You’ve been avoiding my calls. What’s the matter?”“No!” I quickly replied and began to scrape my forehead. “I’m not avoiding your calls. It’s just that I’ve been very busy lately,” I told her.The truth is that I’ve been avoiding her.
