Grayham’s POV

The buzzer came on, signaling that it was a new day. I got up, stretched, and strode to the other side of the bed for my morning push-ups. After that, I put on my shirt and made my way downstairs to the kitchen.

The cookies I baked yesterday all ran out. Thanks to the renovation, Kaden home is starting to appeal to people who would normally walk past it. Now, we have customers not just around the old street but from neighboring communities as well.

I reached the kitchen and began to collect the items I needed for my batter. Today, I’ll be baking two sets of cookies. Plain ones and chocolate-filled. I grabbed an apron, tied it around me, and swung into action.

By 7 am which was over an hour since I woke up, I was already pulling out my freshly baked cookies from the oven. I left them on the counter to cool and proceeded to collect the dirty dishes. Shirley is going to be here any moment now to do the dishes and clean the place.

I gathered the dishes and was about to head

  • THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU    IMAGES ON THE BOARD

Grayham’s POVAfter I left the Wilson mansion, I hailed a cab and went back to Kaden home. The sun was already shining brightly and by the time I reached the café, it was busting with customers. Max and Shirley had their hands full. I acknowledged Shirley who was walking by with a serving tray with a nod and walked up to Max.“Any luck?” He dropped the glass he had just wiped on the table.I shook my head. “I’m afraid not,”Max sighed and dropped both his hands on the table. “I hope he’s found soon,”“Thanks for your concern,”Max grabbed his towel and resumed wiping the glasses. “I might not like him but he means so much to you,”“I’ll go freshen up and then come and take over from you,” I said.“It’s fine. You can grab some sleep too. I don’t mind being here,” Miles replied.I smiled and aimed for the staircase. It was kind of him to assist me but grabbing a nap was the last thing on my mind right now. Until Miles is found, I’m not sure if I can even blink.I got to the second floor

  • THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU    MILES IS MISSING

Grayham’s POVI quickly got out of the cab and entered the café. A few customers were seated around the tables, while Candence sat in a corner sipping coffee.Immediately after I walked in, she dropped her mug and came forward. It then occurred to me that all the customers had mugs in their hands. I roved my eyes around and noticed that Max was not in the room.I turned to Candence. This could only mean one thing. She was the one who served the customers.“Thanks,” I told her.“You’re welcome,” she nodded and folded her arms across her chest. “What’s the matter? You left in a hurry a while ago and you look troubled,”I sighed and began to stroke my forehead. “You remember Grayham? My friend?”She nodded.“He’s missing,” I supplied.Candence gasped. She was shocked. Well, I was still shocked too that Miles could have gone missing in such an unexpected way.I cleared my throat. “Can you hold up this place for a while. Max is going to show up any moment now. I need to get inside and chec

  • THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU    A MANIAC

Mile’s POVDark! The first thing I saw when my eyes opened was darkness. When I blinked, it felt as if my eyelids were soaked in pepper. I tried to look around my surroundings but for almost a minute, I couldn’t fully grasp where I was.Slowly, the wares in the room began to manifest amidst the smoke and dust. I caught one window glued to the wall but it was shut, preventing any light from getting into the room.I inhaled the dust rising through every corner of the room but couldn’t puff out because my mouth was sealed with tape. I couldn’t feel my hands. They were strapped to the chair behind me.Reality instantly dawned on me. I have been kidnapped, tied to a chair, and placed in a strange room. But how was this even possible?I made it to Kaden Home safely after I got Grayham’s call. I went to Sam’s quarters last night but he wasn’t in his room so I booked an Uber instead. The vehicle arrived in front of the house and I stepped out. He drove to Kaden home and I remember reaching th

  • THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU    MISSING

Grayham’s POVCandence has a look in her eyes. A look I’ve never seen before. Her jaws tightened and it felt as if her eyes were harboring fire. I stared intensely at her until her eyes softened.I sighed. “Please, just get the hell out of here,”She got up, collected her clothes, and hugged them tightly then traced her way out of the room. Immediately after she stepped out, I ran toward the door, slammed it, and fell on the bed with a heavy sigh. What the hell just happened?Does this mean that Candence was in love with Miles? She just professed that she’s been into him from the moment they met.Could Max be right? Was I too insensitive to notice that she looks at me with obsession because she thinks I’m Miles?I turned to the phone on the table and quickly reached for it. I went to Google and imputed art exhibits in Japan but there was no event slated for 2025 in Tokyo.I made other searches because Candence had mentioned that the event was a national art festival but from my search

  • THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU    OBSESSED BITCH

Mile’s POVI don’t know how long I held my breath but I must have held it for quite a long time until the old man sighed.“About your relationship with him,” he said. The statement caused me to sigh in relief, releasing all my anxiety in a single breath. For a moment, I thought he had figured out the switch but it turns out he was talking about something else.Grayham’s Granpa cleared his throat loudly and looked me straight in the face. “I know that you two are dating,”“We’re not,” I replied almost immediately. He sighed and dumped his glass of wine on the table. “Fine. You two might not be dating but something is going on. Don’t tell me you’re just friends because it’s far more than that,”I cleared my throat loudly. “We are just having fun,”It was no use lying to the old man about our entanglement. He seems to have figured it out alreadyHe broke into a laugh. “Did you say fun?”I raised an eyebrow. He shook his head. “Grayham. You have to stop lying to yourself. It’s not like I
