Find The Orb 2

Chapter Forty-nine.

Diana's pov

It had been a few weeks since I had told Luke I would find the orb and he would help me out.

I had to ask some of the maids if I could take over their chores while I still performed my duties to the queen, but I hadn't even gone far, there was only one me, against the entire palace.

I sighed, I was doing one of those chores which was cleaning the store room, that wasn't much of a problem for me though since the queen didn't need much of my service these days.

Keisha had been tasked to sweep this area but I had jumped in, this was the first place I had in mind to check out but the last two people who worked here weren't really close friends nor were they ever nice to me so I didn't really bother.

It wasn't that Keisha liked me enough, she just hates the job even more so when I offered to do it instead of her, she was quite ecstatic and didn't hesitate to leave it up to me.

There were a lot of things hanging from pictures of past kings which was my guess
