Carnelian thought that he had come to school earlier than usual. Before the first period, Elijah entered the class, and when Carnelian and Elijah eyes met,Elijah eyes flashed with guilt. He must have known what the eye looking meant Carnelian did not even wait for lunch break before he went to meet Elijah.
