CHAPTER THREE

ADRIENA'S POV

As the teacher was explaining whatever she's explaining,a mixture of pinewood and strawberry hit me,the scent was so savoring that I couldn't get enough of the scent.

"Do you smell that?",I asked my best friend

"Smell what?",she gave me an 'are you okay' eye look.

Maybe it was due to my high sense of smell that I can probably smell the scent so easily,but there is no strawberry cake shop nearby,or maybe we are having a strawberry milkshake at lunch.

Suddenly,the classroom door open and a masculine structure enter with his bag around the side of his left atm. He has an ice blue pair of eyes,his nose was pointed and placed on a face that was sculpted well accompany with the sharp and define jawline. These pair of eyes keep looking at me and then the smell started hitting me again, or should I say that I start taking note of the scent again.

"Mate"we said at the same time.

"Mr. Carnelian Jasper",the teacher called him he turns his head to the teacher without leaving his eyes on mine.

"As you know that you are already late for the first lecture,can you please have your seat quietly without disturbing my class rather than standing at the doorway",she said.

He went to his seat and sat down, after five minutes,the bell rang and we all left to prepare and attend our various next classes.

I went to my locker to take my book for my next class,as I turned my head to make my way to the next class,I hit a strong figure and as I lift my hand to touch my forehead,my hand slightly brush a firm and muscular arm,and as I lift my head to see the structure which I stumbled into,I was shocked to see my mate, which I discovered his name to be Carnelian.

"Are you hurt?",he asked

"No",but I keep rubbing my head not that I'm hurt though,but I guess it is a reflex action or something.

He lifted my chin to look at me and yo check if I'm okay,with his little act,I feel a spark of electricity running through my body due to his touch. I gasped when my eyes met his eyes. His ice blue eyes were so captivating that I feel safe under his watch of his eyes.

"Carnelian from Gray Dawn Pack and also your mate",he said. I blushes slightly at the word mate coming out from his mouth.

Stay stable Adriena,my inner mind scolded me but my wolf didn't allow those command to sink as she keeps on jumping and excited from seeing her mate.

Gray Dawn Pack as in Gray Dawn Pack, and I remember that his surname was Jasper,which means that he is also the next in line to be the Alpha of Gray Dawn Pack. Gray Dawn Pack was known for their strongness and powerful aura. They never lose a battle whenever the needs arises.

Alpha Jasper was well known for his commitment to his pack,and his son will be the next Alpha in few months,same as mine though since we are waiting for the full moon. With all this information that I've derived from Gray Dawn Pack and my mate,this implies that my mate is an Alpha ( a soon to reign Alpha),and I'm also an Alpha infact a soon to reign Alpha also.

Gaining my composure after zoning out I later told him my name

"Adriena from Amore Moon Pack", I said.

"Adriena!",my friend called me as she came running to me. She stopped immediately she reached my side and looked at the person in front of me. She opened her mouth to say something but she only leave an 'o' shape expression on her face while she keeps nodding her head slightly. I turned my head away from Carnelian which results to the dropping of his hand from my chin. So he is still holding my chin.

"I will have to attend my next class",I said as I left with my friend but I can feel his gaze on me as I left .

" Oh my god! you've got to be kidding me",Lucy said as soon as we left Carnelian eyesight and of course as soon I've told her the "mate"story.

"You mean the hot and handsome next to be Alpha of the great Gray Dawn Pack is your mate".

I was not quite comfortable with her description of my mate,but I decided to wave it off.

"That's not be problem Luciana,the fact that my mate is an Alpha and I'm also an Alpha,how will our pack run? Merging the two pack won't be easy",I told her my opinion.

"You are not fucking serious right now, right? Because you've always being wanting to meet your mate since the first time you change into your wolf form and as far as I can remember you were fifteen years by that time and you are currently twenty years,which means that you have been waiting for your mate since fucking five years and you are telling me that this is what you are worried about".

I don't really know what to say,but trust me when I say I won't back down easily until I make my point known. Attempting to talk,Lucy beats me to it

"Oh no, don't tell me you are actually serious. Do you want your mate to be an Omega male instead,maybe you can ask for a second chance and make sure you add an omega male for your mate instead and I will be so glad to take this one you are contemplating on rejecting",she said and left me.

I guess she is mad at my decision or better still, because hell no,I won't reject my mate. Deep down,I know she is right but I can't ignore my pack because of my mate??. I reached the classroom when our next class was supposed to take place. I saw Lucy and I went to say down beside her even though she is still slightly mad at me.

A familiar scent hit me once again and I turned back to meet a familiar and appealing ice blue eyes staring at me. And when I mean staring,I mean staring as staring. I turned as soon as the teacher entered the class so as to concentrate but I know it will be hard to do that.

As I twist to the side to take my own pen from my bag,I saw a piece of paper which was folded in a butterfly shape on my desk as I turned back. I opened it and saw 'meet me during lunch break at the music class'

I looked back and saw Carnelian swinging his pen in between his thumb and index finger, sitting down with a relaxed posture on the chair and he gave me the okay look in form of a question though. I nodded and face the teacher and I know from that moment that there is no hope in me concentrating for the rest of the class .

Thinking of why he asked me to meet him in the music room during lunch,I later derived 150 reasons as to why he want to meet him, weird right. If I tell you guys that I'm not happy to spend time with him,will you agree, whatever I still have my pride to keep. I told Luciana to go to lunch without me and she didn't even ask for the reason but I'm pretty sure that she will ask later when she is no longer mad
