CHAPTER 30 - TORTURE

-HUDSON’S POV-

(2 weeks later)

Two weeks' worth of training seemed to have gone down the drain. Charles has a work schedule of 8 am to 5 pm, with weekends off, and he cannot even keep that up. He stares off into space in meetings, fidgets on his phone, and flirts nonstop with all the unmated women. Sometimes he disappears, and no one knows where the hell he has gone. I had to arrange for two guards to secretly monitor him so that I could bring him back from his exploits on demand.

While he says yes to everything, his mind is not here. The only thing that he takes seriously is warrior training. Dad was right about his immaturity for the post, but at the same time, this title was being forced on him.
