ASSIGNMENT

I had opted for a small, nice and plain room with a tiny window located at the side of the wall. Though small, it afforded me my space which I considered more than enough.

My eyes spotted where my uniforms were kept and I made for them. Quite decent and better designed than my previous.

I decided to take a bit of rest if not a nap to reminisce on a few things still bothering my mind. Whilst I laid there staring at the ceiling, drowsily, I slumbered and slept off.

I couldn't tell for how long I must have slept, but I figured it was pretty long until I was startled to my feet by a big bang on my door. I jumped up abruptly wide-eyed, wondering if the Palace was on fire. Quickly, I dressed my hair, and walked hastily to the door.

Swinging it open, I saw the other maids, with their hands clasped and their heads bowed submissively. I needn't be told before joining the trend.

'What could be the matter right now?'. I wondered. 'I had thought it was supposed to be our day off..So, why an abr
