A SECOND TIME

Latifah's POV.

It's the dawn of another day and it simply reminded me that I needed to clean the King's room yet again. As customary, I had gone for my breakfast and immediately set out for the King's quarters.

By the time I got to the last floor, I was exhausted, but then, I had no option. I had come to do my task and I must have it done.

Without much ado, I got out all of my necessary cleaning equipment.

I pushed the room open, noticed the door to the bedroom was left ajar. So, I decided to go shut the door when a deep, masculine baritone voice wrecked fear into, bringing me to an abrupt halt.

"I see you are back". The voice said.

Startled, I let the items in my hand fall. I need not anyone tell me whose voice it was.

The King's familiar voice hit me like a thunderbolt, and filled me with worry and anxiety. Tension and panic began to cringe upon me.

I wondered why he was still around. I had tried to conclude my breakfast quickly, so as to be able to resume my day's task and finish
