PART FIVE: A COMPLETE STRANGER

Recap:/ hi! I am boma hart and there are a few things you know or probably forgot, Scott's visit to my office, didn't go well as planned, and also a client wants me to attend her wedding anniversary with my supposed boyfriend, whereas mom decides to give me a surprise call/.

"Okay dear, let me delude that's what truly happened," mom says smacking her tongue at me, "yes ma, what's going on, why did you call? Is father okay" In an anxious mood I asked, " yes, he is fine okay, don't worry! I only called just to inform you that I'll be coming to town today!" She says all of a sudden my head began to spin, " urgh!!" I let out a weak moan, "honey! Are you okay? Do you not want your sweet mother to stay with you"  she sounded sweet through the phone, and anytime mom begin altering sweetly to us, just be prepared because you're in for a big treat, "holy shit! Am in trouble" I couldn't help but imagine how much pain she( mom) would be in my butt. "Boma, baby are you there" her voice nudges me back to the phone " yes! Ma" I replied, "ok, my love, so how about you come to pick me up in an hour"  she uttered putting off the call without listening to me. 

Hours later ( airport) 

So as per instructed, I left to the airport in an hour, with a grumpy face, I looked around to catch a glimpse of her, after looking out for a while, I  whirled my eyes to the door, ambling away, that's when a voice asserted out to me, "are you going to leave me?" I turned seeing mom standing in front of me with a straight face, "ma!!" I said in surprise, "yes! Tell me? Are you planning on ditching me?" She copied back her words to me, " no ma, I wanted to get bottled water from my car" in a weird voice, I asserted out to her, " hmm!! Get my bags" mom's eye's me suspiciously before strolling away. "Yes ma'am" I held her suitcase, striding behind.

I placed her bags at the trunk of my car, and walked to the front seat, driving away in serious look, mom took a side glance at me, and the moment I passed through a shopping mall, she yells out to me, "stop the car" I stepped on the brakes in a state of shock, "what is it ma, why did you shout?" I started at her, "nothing much, I wanted us to go shopping for food items, I want to prepare a delicious meal for my darling daughter" she air-kissed me, " ok ma, why don't you go in and get the items, while I wait here for you" I retreated my words to her, " seriously!" She raises an eyebrow at me, " yes ma! Go in!!" In a distant tone I  repeated my words, "ok" she gets out of the car strolling into the mall. 

Hours went by, mom hasn't still returned,   so help me God, she has better me surfing for food items and not something else or better still someone.

I stepped out of the car, strolling into the mall, eyes peeled to catch a glimpse of her, I walked down to the food section, and while going towards where the utensils are being kept, I saw mom busy yapping about with a rather handsome man, "mom" I uttered out as they both took heed to me, "baby! Come here" she drags me next to her, "his name is Brandon Leon and I invited him over for dinner tonight" her lips shapes up smiling.
