CHAPTER 17 – TURNING HER INTO A MONSTER

“You knew it was just a cub, didn't you?” My voice quavered with sadness. My words came out in a sad whisper, as if I was trying to lighten the burden that weighed on me.

“I did,” he replied calmly, revealing a coldness that sent shivers down my spine. His voice was an emotionless echo, a brutal confirmation of the cruelty of the situation.

“YOU'RE A MONSTER, YOU MADE ME KILL A CUB!” I shouted, feeling an overwhelming wave of hatred coursing through my veins. My words exploded in anger, echoing through the dark forest like a desperate cry.

“I didn't force you to kill it, you chose to kill it for your own reasons. Remember that, human!” His ruthless demeanor brought out the painful reality that everything he had done had been done to turn me into a monster like him. His words were like sharp daggers, piercing my heart with bitter truth.
