I struggled to keep my eyes open as I watched the sinister creature rise in the air, flying and gliding with the Alpha in its arms. Even in his feral form, my mate seemed tiny in the face of the imposing winged creature that held him aloft. My eyes felt heavy, and I closed them for a moment. Suddenly, a deafening roar made the ground tremble. As I opened my eyes again, I witnessed King Lycan staggering and speaking with difficulty, addressing the witch.

“You need to get up, Hybrid...” a voice resonated through the wind. “He won't endure for much longer!”

“Harvey...” I whispered, trying to lift my body. I felt magic swirling from head to toe, caressing me gracefully and dispelling some of the drowsiness that afflicted me.

The Alpha's roar was thunderous, followed by a silence that seemed to freeze everything around. The smell of rust became almost palpable in the air. I turned in his direction, surprised to see him smiling as charmingly as the first time he teased me. His l
