Morning light bled through the floor-to-ceiling windows of Carson’s penthouse, gilding the city in shades of gold and steel.

Justina stirred against the sheets, her body aching from the night before not just from his touch, but from the storm that had torn through her heart. Every kiss had felt like both a claim and a curse, every whisper like a chain fastening tighter around her throat.

She lay still, eyes half-closed, listening.

The apartment was too quiet.

The steady rhythm of Carson’s presence, the subtle sound of his breath, the weight of his gaze, the dominance that filled every room he walked into was missing.

Her pulse quickened.

She pushed herself up, the sheets slipping from her bare skin, and scanned the room. Empty. His suit jacket was gone from the chair. His cufflinks were missing from the nightstand.

Panic flickered. Had he left her here like some discarded plaything? No. Carson Wills didn’t discard. He consumed. And when he was finished consuming, he destroyed.

  • TIED IN HIS BED   THORNS OF THE PAST

Ezra’s footsteps were slow. Deliberate.A predator wandering through a battlefield he already believed belonged to him.Smoke curled around his silhouette, turning him into a specter—half man, half ghost—his dark hair swept back with ruthless precision. His eyes, sharp and unreadable, locked onto Justina with a familiarity that twisted her stomach into knots. He stepped over a fallen mercenary as though the man were nothing more than an abandoned coat.He brushed soot from his jacket with unsettling calm. And then he smiled.A smile that didn’t belong in a room filled with blood, shattered screens, and gunfire scars.A smile that said he had already won.Justina’s pulse roared.Carson stood in front of her—broad, solid, furious.A wall of muscle and rage, holding back a storm he was seconds away from unleashing.Ezra lifted both palms.A gentle gesture.A liar’s gesture.“Relax,” he murmured, voice smooth as polished marble. “If I wanted you dead, Carson, you wouldn’t still be breathi

  • TIED IN HIS BED   THE HOUSE THAT BLEEDS

Gunfire didn’t stop, it multiplied.Glass shattered. Wood splintered. Metal screamed under the force of bullets engineered not to intimidate, but to annihilate.Outside, engines roared to life. Tires screeched. Shadows moved with military precision across the sprawling grounds of the estate. Figures in armor took positions along the perimeter, snipers locking angles, drones circling overhead like mechanical vultures waiting for the kill. This wasn’t a warning. This was an execution order.Carson grabbed Justina’s hand, pulling her down the hallway as bullets ripped through the walls behind them. Marble cracked. Paintings tore. Chandeliers trembled.A home of quiet nights, confessions, and skin‑to‑skin whispers had transformed into a war zone.“Stay low,” Carson commanded, voice steady despite the chaos closing in.Justina gave him a breathless glare. “Do I look like I’m trying to stand tall?”Even now in violence, in danger, in a house that was bleeding, Justina Ashes refused to fold.

  • TIED IN HIS BED   THE QUIET BETWEEN STORMS

Morning arrived softly, as if afraid to disturb the fragile peace over the estate. Pale sunlight seeped past the floor-length curtains, casting patterns across the hardwood floor, across the sheets, across Justina’s bare shoulder where she rested, quiet and still, wrapped in Carson’s arms. She had not slept this deeply in years. Not since secrets became walls. Not since fire became scars. And Carson had not slept at all.He held her as though she were the only truth left in the world. One hand rested at the small of her back, steady and warm, while his eyes remained open, watching the window, listening to her breathing, counting every rise and fall of her chest like it anchored him.She stirred faintly. “You are awake,” she whispered without opening her eyes. His lips brushed her forehead. “I did not want to miss the first moment you opened your eyes.”Justina smiled, slow and soft. “You stayed awake just for that?”“I would stay awake for a thousand days just to see that,” he murmure

  • TIED IN HIS BED   SILENT EMBERS

The estate was hushed, bathed in the soft glow of moonlight filtering through tall, arched windows. Every surface reflected the quiet triumph of Carson and Justina, survivors of fire, betrayal, and secrets long buried. The silence was deceptive. Beneath it simmered an intensity neither could contain.Justina stood by a window, gazing at the distant city lights. “Even after everything, the shadows never really disappear,” she murmured, her voice soft, almost to herself.Carson moved behind her, his presence a warm, steady force. “They fade,” he said, lips brushing her hair. “And tonight, with you, every shadow is just a memory. Nothing more.”Her heart thrummed at his nearness. “It is hard to believe we are finally free,” she admitted. “That every secret, every betrayal, every moment of fear led to this.”Carson pressed his body against hers, arms wrapping around her waist. “Free is not just escaping the past,” he murmured. “It is claiming every moment, every desire, every heartbeat wi

  • TIED IN HIS BED   INFERNO OF SECRETS

The estate’s night air was cool against their skin, but inside, the fire between Carson and Justina burned hotter than ever. After hours in the hidden wing, tracing secrets, unlocking passages, and discovering the legacy of shadows left behind, they had emerged into the grand hall, the golden light of chandeliers reflecting off polished marble floors.Justina paused, gazing at the hall, her fingers brushing over Carson’s. “All these years, all these walls, and now we finally walk through them without fear.”Carson’s hand tightened over hers in a protective, possessive gesture. “Fear had its time,” he said, voice low and commanding. “But it ends here. Tonight, everything belongs to us. Every secret, every shadow, every inch of this estate.”Their eyes locked, the intensity between them tangible. Justina felt her heart hammering, not just from desire, but from the weight of everything they had survived together. “And what about us?” she whispered. “After all of this, are we free?”Carso

  • TIED IN HIS BED   VEIL OF FIRE

The estate had never felt so alive or so dangerous. Every corridor, every chamber whispered the echoes of the past. The secrets of Carson’s father lingered like smoke. But tonight, the estate was theirs. Every hidden corner, every shadowy hallway had been claimed, not by fear, but by love, desire, and the unbreakable bond between Carson and Justina.Justina followed Carson into a previously untouched wing of the estate. The walls were lined with ancient tapestries depicting battles, betrayals, and legacies. “It is like walking through history,” she whispered, fingers grazing the threads, feeling the stories vibrate beneath her touch.Carson’s hand found hers, gripping tightly as he led her deeper. “History is not just something we inherit,” he said. “It is something we redefine. And this estate, this life, we define it now, together.”The air shifted, charged with anticipation. Justina’s heart raced, not from fear, but from the magnetic pull of him, the desire that had simmered for ye
