“Thanks for the lunch, Jayde.”

"You're welcome. I hope you enjoy it and we can have lunch together another time.”

"Well of course." But I hope not.

Mila pretended to put on a fake smile in front of Jayde and got out of his car. This really sucks because she has to pretend that she's happy. To be honest having lunch with Jayde was great. He is a good and humorous man. It's just that she wasn't comfortable with the gazes of women when they saw her with Jayde. It might just be her feelings, but she felt like a hooker for jumping from one guy to another. Besides that she also thought about the threat that Ezra had left her. She just didn't want Jayde to get in trouble for asking her out to lunch.

“Mr. Peterson, wait!”

Coincidentally Mr. Peterson was just getting into the elevator and returning to his office after lunch. Mila tried to walk fast to approach Mr. Peterson while supporting her aching hips.

"What's wrong, Ms. Milla?"

"Call me just Mila, ok?"

"Okay. What is it, Mila?"
