BEGINNING & END

After checking that the main door is closed, Lucy went to Devlin’s room and saw that he is sitting on his couch in his nightdress. Lucy went and sat on his lap now understanding that something is disturbing him.

“What are you thinking, mate?” She asked him but he didn’t hear it as his mind is playing with him.

Lucy became confused and afraid and shook his shoulders taking him out of his world. That’s when he saw that his mate is sitting on his lap. He immediately hugged her keeping his head on the crook of her neck making her smile.

“What are you thinking, Devlin?” She asked him again and he just shook his head telling her nothing.

“Do you know what we talked about in the living hall?” She asked him getting ready to give him his surprise and Devlin also shook his head not knowing anything.

“Do you know what day is tomorrow?” She again asked him and got the same reply.

“We both are going to get…hmm…married
