THE ENTRY

Opening the door of his mate’s room, Devlin peeked inside as he doesn’t want to create any mess after what happened in the living hall. He slowly got inside and closed the door behind him, he looked around the room trying to find her but he only found it empty.

His hands started to shake thinking the worst. He immediately started to search the whole room and he released a heavy breath when he saw his mate sleeping in the corner of the room, beside the couch and that too on the floor. It broke his heart to see her like that. She is sleeping in the cocoon position as the space is only a little in the corner.

He guessed that she must be sleeping crying as he can able to see her tear-stained face. He wants to pick her up and made her sleep on the bed yet it will be dangerous if she wakes up. Not having any other better option, he sat beside her on the floor waiting for her to wake up, looking at her like he used to do whenever she is near him.
