THE NEED TO KNOW

Lucy went inside and saw the mansion is completely clean. She guessed that it can be the work of Devlin. The majestic armchairs in the center of the hall, made her want to sit in them. But, she knew that she don’t have any right to sit in that now. Though the outside of the mansion is painted black, the interiors are only silvery-white and the furniture is not painted.

She looked at the staircase on the right side of the mansion leading to the first floor. The staircase is also painted brown matching the furniture. All the while, Devlin is only looking at her expressions to know whether she likes this mansion or not. At first, she didn’t show any expression on her face, but when she saw the huge portrait of Devlin’s parents with the baby Devlin in their hands, she smiled and looked at him.

“You were cute as the baby,” She said and he smiled at the response.

“Come, I’ll show you around” Devlin called her and started to walk on the left side of the ma
