Seraphina's POV
"So, you're a witch, huh? What coven?" Killian asked, his hand gliding from my shoulder down the length of my spine before planting a kiss. "South Park," I replied flatly, ignoring his blatant attempt at intimacy. "The wolves in South Park are elegant. I suppose the witches share the same trait because you're stunning," he said, leaning in again for another kiss. "There’s something about you... I just can’t stay away," he murmured, gently turning my face to meet his eyes. "I’m obsessed with you, Seraphina." Before his lips could reach mine, my phone rang. "Sorry, I have to take this," I said, stepping away politely. "Alright. I’ll be in my chambers," he said with a lingering glance before walking off. Once I was sure he was gone, I checked the screen and answered the call. "It worked," I said with a sly smile. "He can’t keep his eyes off me, not even for a minute." "Excellent," came the deep voice on the other end. I couldn’t see his face, but I knew he was smiling too. My mind drifted to how it all began... That night in the coven the flickering candles, the thick scent of herbs and Malakar, head of the witches, standing before me with a dark potion in hand. Our eyes met, her face unreadable. "Once you drink this, there’s no turning back," he warned. I stared into the cup, its contents thick and black like tar. Do it now, or the plan dies here. Without another thought, I downed it in one gulp, slamming the cup onto the table and locking eyes with Malakar, who now wore a knowing smile. Suddenly, a sharp pain tore through my chest. I clutched it, stumbling into a chair as I struggled to breathe. Then, just as suddenly, the pain vanished. When I looked up, Malakar was still watching me. "It is done. Killian will be yours now," he said. Now, standing in Killian's home and still on the phone with Malakar, a wave of excitement coursed through me. "Now that I have Killian wrapped around my fingers," I said confidently, "it's time to avenge my father's death and take over the Nightrun Pack." "But you know it won’t be easy," Malakar reminded me. He was right and that was one of the reasons I respected him. He always spoke the truth, no sugarcoating. He’s not just a coven leader, he's a Lord among witches. Powerful. Ruthless. "It’s simple, really. Everyone thinks I…." I paused mid-sentence. Footsteps. It was Aria. She walked past me with her bag slung over her shoulder, her expression carved in stone. This was my moment. Now or never. "Aria!" I called, quickly rising to my feet and hurrying to catch up with her at the door. She stopped, turned, and pierced me with a glare. "What do you want?" Her voice was low and cold. I sighed, fiddling with my fingers as I stepped closer. "I’m sorry for everything that happened today." "You took what was mine," she snapped, eyes burning with fury. "We both know Killian isn’t your mate. You’re a damn witch!" "No, Aria!" I cut her off. "Don’t say that. Killian is my mate. We share a bond. Yes, I’m a witch but I never wanted things to turn out like this." I reached out to hold her hand, but she recoiled. "Despite everything, you're still the lead security analyst of this pack. Without you, we’re vulnerable. I need you." "You’re lying!" she shouted. "I don’t believe you!" "I want you to stay," I said softly. "I truly regret what I’ve caused you, Aria." Her eyes flickered with hesitation. Tears welled in mine as I finally managed to hold her hand. "Killian and I are bound. If we’re separated, things could spiral out of control. Please understand I never meant to push you out. You matter to this pack. You matter to me." Silence stretched between us as my words hung in the air. "We can still work together, Aria." She sighed. "Fine. I’ll stay." Relief flooded through me, and I wrapped her in a warm hug. "Thank you," I whispered. "My heart wouldn’t be at peace knowing I ruined what could’ve been a strong bond." She gave me a small smile. "I’ll stay... but I won’t live in the pack mansion. I can’t stand to see the two of you..." she trailed off, awkward. I smiled knowingly. "Don’t worry, Aria. There won’t be any of that." She nodded, and I helped her carry her bags back inside. As she climbed the stairs with her things, I sank back into the couch, a triumphant smile tugging at my lips. So gullible. Once I’m done with her, nothing will stop me from taking this pack.Aria POV"Come on Luna, push the baby is coming out!" The maidens all yelled and I closed my eyes and forced through the pain but still nothing was happening."What is going on!" Killian yelled at the Pack doctor in frustration. "Why isn't the baby coming out." "In all my years as the Pack doctor, I have never seen a thing like this Alpha. You just have to remain calm." The Pack doctor said.Tears dropped down my eyes. I was beginning to loose strength and there was till no sign o a child yet.It almost felt like the baby was stuck in my womb and I could not find the right explanation to this situation."Aria darling. I know you have tried but you need to push harder. Remember the promise we made? If you give birth to this child we are going to get married soon. So push." Killian encouraged.I held unto his hand and closed my eyes and pushed through the pain. My vision was blurry but I kept on pushing."Yes keep doing it, the baby is coming!" The doctor said excitedly. It fueled my m
Aria POVIf there was one thing I have learnt when fighting Seraphina is the fact that the war is never over against her until I have completely crushed everything.I rode on Abraddox back once again to the Pack mansion of Shadow Pack that she had rebuild. I stepped down from the dragon and rushed into the building."How did it go?" I turned around and find Killian holding unto the dagger. "Did you kill her?" He asked."She escaped but she will no longer be a threat to us anymore. I stripped her off the magic that she possess." "But the plan is to kill her completely. Why did you let her go again!" He asked."It is not my fault Killian. Don't blame me. One of her Wveryrns took her away before I could even get the dagger to her chest." I said to him."Anyways, where do you think she keeps her mirror?" He asked and I start walking through the hallway.I still recalled everything about the mansion. From the chambers where Lucian stays to where I was kept as a prisoner. We turned towards
Aria POV"I guess it's you and I again Abraddox." I said and he howled in excitement. I turned to my right and dragons flew in the same line as Abraddox. To my left it was the same thing The dragons may not be much, but they are everything that I needed to finally put an end to the Wyverns. We arrived at the pack boarders right before the sun starts to descend across the hills. I pulled Abraddox down to the ground where the soldiers were waiting and dropped to the ground."You should be with the dragons Aria. We will be able to take the soldiers ourselves." Mammon said to me."Very well then. Best of luck." I said the moment I heard a faint growl coming in the direction of the pack. We ascended up to the sky once again and my eyes almost fell out of the socket by the number of Wyverns approaching."They all have riders while we don't." I said to Abraddox but he was too eager to fight. "Ready yourselves!" I yelled and the dragon all stood in one line.I was waiting for the perfect opp
Aria POVThe steps back to the council was a very long one. The revelation from the maid was mind blowing that I did not know how to tell everyone about it. Especially Lucian, who has placed his entire trust into Morgana and everything that she stood for.The guard opened the door and the maid walked in first to stand before the throne, while I walked into the council last.Everyone had their gaze in my direction. I looked up to Killian and noticed he was reading my expression.I cleared my throat and began. "After several minutes of questioning the Maid. She has told me her side of the story." I turned to the direction of Morgana."She told me that Morgana was trying to poison our meal but the maid caught her and she tried to flip the entire story on the maid's head." There were several gasp and murmuring from the council. I turned to see Lucian's expression was also filled with shock."This is absolute nonsense." Morgana said and take a step forward. "Are you all going to believe a
Aria POV"Over the past few months, Blood Moon Pack had surprisingly enjoyed peace. This is the first time in almost a year since we last had this peace and my duty as an Alpha is to make this continue. Now I know alot of you might be wondering why Alpha Lucian has not returned back to Shadow Pack. The answer is very simple. The Alpha stays with us until Seraphina's head is brought brought before this throne. We cannot trust that woman." Killian finished his speech and there was mumbling amongst the pack members."Alpha, we understand your predicament and everything you have said and we find no fault in it." The head of the council members revealedKillian turned to my direction and I cleared my throat, standing up to my feet and greeting everyone at the round table. "Now that I have everyone's attention. We have a guest in our midst. He came all the way from the Eastern kingdom and has come to pay homage." "Alpha, we should be discussing the main problem which is stopping Seraphina
Aria POVDuring evening time, Killian had come to join me in the master bed room and together we stared out the window in silence, watching as the sun descended into the hills."I have been wondering what could be the actual perfect name for our baby. It has to be something memorable that whenever people here it, they have no choice than to look twice and respect the name." Killian said as he played with my hair."What name do you have at mind?" I asked."We cannot give him a name right now. We have to make sure that we are led by the moon goddess. That is how every wolf is given their names." He said to me."But how sure are you that the child will come out as a boy?" I asked with a smile on my face, fondling his beards in the process."Come on Aria. I understand your love for the girl child but we both know that I need a heir to take over Blood Moon Pack. It is our heritage to produce one and as a hybrid wolf who mates with a powerful Alpha like myself, I have no doubt that it is go
