Seraphina POV

When I opened Killian's chamber, he was pacing around the room with his hand on his hair playing with it aggressively.

"Babe, what is the problem?" I asked.

He had stopped pacing around and was staring in my direction with a look of confusion on his face.

"Who are you and how dare you just walk into my room?" He asked.

I furrowed my eyes together confused by his statement. "Babe. It's me your mate." I reminded him.

"Are you out of your mind?" He asked, growling loudly. "I have a woman and she is not you."

Everything he said still didn't make sense to me. I walked towards the table and gently dropped his breakfast, before turning around to face him.

His eyes had changed colors and it wasn't the exact colors they had when I managed to charm him.

Something was wrong and standing before him proved it.

"Where is my mate Aria?"

"She is not your mate. I am your mate." I replied and he got angry once again.

"Where are my soldiers!" He asked at the top of his voice.

Moments later a group of soldiers walked into the room with the Captain trailing right behind them.

"You asked for us Alpha." The captain said.

"Who is this woman?" Killian asked, pointing at me.

"Alpha, she is your wife."

"I dare you to say that one more time!" He spoke to the captain after walking to face him closely. "I didn't choose her to be my wife."

My heart was racing fast thinking about the potion that I had taken.

Could it be that the potion has lost its effect?

"Where is Aria?" Killian asked, after regain his composure and calming himself down, while facing the soldiers.

"She....." The captain paused and looked down to the ground.

"Answer me! Where is my mate?"

"I already told you babe. You sent her away." I replied on the Captain's behalf.

Killian turned to the captain and received a nod of confirmation from him.

"I need you to send the soldiers out there to find her immediately. Make sure you bring her back to me alive!" Killian instructed the captain and together with the soldiers they all moved out of the room.

"What about us?" I asked, walking up to meet him.

"I don't know how you even got into my house but we are not mates and it will never happened."

A part of me felt angry about his words but then I realized that something is wrong. He wasn't supposed to be acting this way.

I walked out of the room, slamming the door behind and moving to my room. I closed the door behind and begin pacing up and down, thinking about what he said.

There is no way this is happening!

Killian couldn't not have broken the magical mate bond between the two of us.

If there is one person to account for everything happening, it is Lord Malakar.

Instead of calling him on the phone, I walked over to the mirror and stared at my reflection. "Mirror on the wall, I demand the presence of the Lord of East Covenant to appear before me."

My images changed and Lord Malakar's frame came through.

"Why have you decided to disturb me?" He asked.

"The mate bond has been somehow broken." I announced to him and a look of shock came through his face.

"But that is not possible. That potion is strong and will only wore out if the person is dead." He argued.

"What can we do?" I asked, getting impatient.

"You are a witch. There are spells you can use to still control him. Although it is devoid of the mate bond but it doesn't change anything." Lord Malakar revealed.

He was right.

Even though the mate bond wasn't existing, I could still control his mind while I make out a plan for my next line of action.

Lord Malakar vanished from the reflection of the mirror and I revert back to my thoughts, thinking about what I can do.

My ears picked the sound of footsteps walking past my doors. I walked away from the mirror to the door and pushed it open.

"Can I have a word with you captain!"

The captain and the soldiers had walked past by and they were going to find Aria.

"Luna. How can I help you?" He asked.

"I need a favor from you." I said and then looked at the other soldiers. "I want to meet someone." I added.

"Who is that?" The captain asked.

"Days ago, I heard some of the maid talking about a certain Killian's cousin."

The captain's eyes widened "Are you talking about Magnus Veil!" He said in a low tone.

"Yes." I replied.

"Luna, there is a reason he was banished by Killian despite they are siblings. Magnus is a dangerous man." The captain revealed.

"I don't care. I want to see him and you will make it happen."

He shook his head indicating he wasn't going to help. The captain made attempt to walk away, but I quickly grabbed his wrist.

He turned around to look at me and I capture the energy in his eyes and penetrating into his mind.

"Now listen very well. Take me to Magnus Veil."

"I will take you to Magnus Veil." He replied with a robotic voice.

I let go of his hands afterwards and closed my door locking it before following him to join the rest of the soldiers.

We walked out of the pack mansion and made our way to the pack boarders.

Moving past the pack boarders, the captain lead me to the left side of the forest. He had instructed the soldiers to move along without him.

We arrived at a hut some moments later and there was a few men guarding the entrance of the mud house.

"What do you want?" They asked, growling out loudly at us.

"I want to see Magnus Veil." I demanded.

"Magnus Veil is busy. Go and don't come back." The men replied.

"Let her in."

A loud deep voice echoed through the mud house and the soldiers had no choice than to move away.

I turned to the captain and nod my head indicating that he should go. Once he was gone, I walked into the mud and a man was seated on the couch, holding his sword.

"What do you want?" He asked without even bothering to look in my direction.
