Drystan’s POV

Three years ago, everything changed.

I looked at my daughter, Angelina, her small face peaceful and beautiful as she slept.

Sienna left without saying anything. I still wonder if she ran away out of fear, guilt, or for reasons I’ll never know. Maybe she didn’t want this life, or maybe she couldn’t face me. I tried to find her, but there was no sign of her.

I couldn’t let her go. I already felt a bond with this little life, even though she wasn’t really mine.

The DNA test proved it

  • TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE LUNA   I won't let you go

Victoria’s POVMakarius had changed since Raya disappeared. Our adopted daughter vanished three weeks ago, leaving a hole in our family. We were both haunted by her absence, but it hit Makarius even harder. I think he worried our son would end up searching for me, just like he once did.It weighed on him, and the space between us started to feel like a real distance.I undressed and shifted, running into the cold air. Autumn was my favorite season. The leaves were falling, and the air smelled different.Maybe I didn’t want to admit how much it hurt to see him drifting away. I ran back and saw him holding my clothes.I shifted back. "Makarius, I thought you’d be gone for a few more days," I said as I walked toward him.He pulled me close, and I sighed."Forgive me. I know you feel sad. I lost track of...""What am I to you?"He let out a sad laugh. "You will always be everything to me, Victoria," he said, his hands tracing my body and his lips pressing hard against mine.I pulled away.

Sometimes I wonder if I was ever meant for love or happiness. Nothing ever seems to go right for me.I kissed her small cheek and laid her in the crib. Then I headed to the rogue quarters, needing to do something good before I let my anger take over. The rogue girls stood in a line. As I walked past them, a scent caught my attention. It was faint at first, but it stirred something in my wolf and me. Only Victoria’s scent had ever done that before.I stepped back and stopped in front of a small

  • TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE LUNA   She's gone

Victoria’s POVThe path was slippery, and the forest grew denser as we climbed higher up the mountain.Makarius carried Abrax on his shoulders."Victoria, we’re almost there. She told us we’d feel the land. I’m not sure what that means, but that’s all she said about where to go." Then he turned to me. The air tingled against my skin, and the ground under my feet seemed to pulse gently, almost like the earth had a heartbeat. It felt like the forest wanted us to notice something hidden, waiting for us to understand."I feel it," I said nervously. "Keep going." The ground felt different beneath us as we walked, and our senses grew sharper.Fifteen minutes later, I looked up to see a woman on the path."Welcome," she said. "Follow me." She looked to be in her mid-thirties, with long black hair in a braid and a flowing dress the color of spring leaves. The house was modest. As we stepped inside, I noticed plants hanging from strings to dry."Please, sit down," she said, pointing to the col

Victoria's POVHow are Abrax and Raya? I asked Makarius, trying not to cry when I heard his voice. It’s been two weeks, and I miss him so much. I’ve been hiding away in the house my dad gave us in my royal pack.I feel your sadness, Makarius said.Tears streamed down my face. Then I heard a knock at the door. I walked over and opened it to see Makarius standing there.I dropped the phone and hugged him tightly. He let out a deep breath."God, I missed you so much," he said, breathing in my scent like he was desperate. Then he kissed me."Why are you so stubborn?" he asked. "No more, Victoria. You’re going to listen to me and come home," he said, raising his voice."Okay," I whispered."What?" He looked surprised that I didn’t argue. "Great, pack up. The jet is waiting. Wait, is this some trick?""No, Makarius. I thought about it. I need to trust that this will work, and that you love me enough to..." I broke down in tears."Love you, woman. I’m in love with you. There will never be an

Victoria’s POVThe pack house looked stunning. Silver and emerald banners hung from the high ceilings, catching the soft light from hundreds of floating candles. Fairy lights wrapped around the wooden beams, casting a warm, magical glow. The room was filled with laughter and lively conversation, while upbeat music played near the dance floor. The smell of wildflowers mixed with spiced wine, and the fresh scent of night-blooming jasmine drifted in through the open windows. Every corner sparkled, and the whole place felt alive with something magical.I looked at my phone.Let’s dance, you need to relax. The kids are fine. Then why do I have a nagging feeling that something is going to happen?Makarius stared at me."I think you're just overreacting," he said, leading me onto the dance floor."Makarius," I said, looking into his eyes, "I can't lie to you."Don’t worry, I know it's not you; he needs to keep his lips to his bride, not my wife.I was shocked."Since we re-bonded, I can feel

  • TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE LUNA   I have no feelings for you

Drystan’s POVI stared at her, not wanting to believe it. She’s pregnant with my child. Why did you wait so long, Sienna? I asked her, my voice tight with anger.Sienna’s hands trembled as she spoke, her voice barely above a whisper. I was scared to tell you, Alpha Drystan. You were not kind to me. She wouldn’t meet my eyes, twisting her fingers together like she was trying to keep herself from falling apart.Kind? Why should I be kind to you? Who are you to me?Sienna started to cry.I cursed. Now I’d have to marry her. The weight of responsibility pressed down on me. I needed to show everyone I took my duties as Alpha seriously. But anger boiled inside me. I wanted to blame her, to make her disappear, to make this all go away. Part of me wanted to lash out, even though I knew it was wrong. Underneath the rage, guilt started to eat at me. None of this would have happened if not for my choices. I hated myself for wanting to run, for wanting to hurt her when I was just as much at fault
