Lucas's POV

I opened my eyes to find myself in the hospital, and I for the most didn't understand what was going on until I realized that I was the one being treated as a patient. My head hurt so much and I hardly remember some things. What on earth is going on here? Why did I come to the hospital? Did those bastards dare to attack me and bring me here? I'm trying to remember the last place I was before I got attacked like this. I could tell that my body has been healing, and it seems to be over a day now.

"What is going on here? Why am I here?" I asked the nurse attending to me.

She looked at me disdainfully. "You finally opened your eyes. I thought you were not going to open it."

"How dare you speak to me that way? Do you really not fear for your head?" I fired at her angrily.

She scoffed, "What century is this? You're still speaking about heads being cut off. You think this is some old days shit or what? Besides, you're not even my alpha. What makes you think I can't talk to you?
