Sino looked at the reflection of herself in front of the tall mirror, she couldn't recognize the girl staring back at her. The red backless dress hugged her petite body in the right places, her dark skin glistening and complimenting the dress as well, the slit made her legs look alluring and thanks to the nude stilettos, her legs looked longer.“Huh? Am I good or what? Huh huh?”“I wish you would stop saying huh.” Mbali rolled her eyes at her, she stepped closer to her, hugging her from behind with a fondness smile on her face.It was the day of the event, they had gone shopping for shoes and jewelry much to Sino's dismay. Mbali had dragged her to every store in the mall for two hours just for the perfect shoes. She had almost cried when she came to find out that it was only the beginning of their shopping. But now that she was admiring herself in the mirror, she felt it was worth the hours of standing on an empty stomach.“Okay I know you look awesome but let's go, before we get late.” It was funny to her how her friend had always been late to the most important things in her life, but she never missed a party, nor late to one unless it was out of being fashionably late.“Let's go.” Sino said smiling at her friend, she had seen her outfits, everything always looked good on her. The black dress that hugged her curves out did a lot of justice to her body. “You look amazing babe!”“Thank you.” She hooked her arm with Sino as she smiled goofily at her, making her chuckle at her childlike behavior. Sino stopped dead in her tracks as she stared at the black limousine packed up in the driveway, with a chauffeur holding the door for them to go in. “Close your mouth.”“Your parents sent this?”Sino looked at the car in awe. Mbali scoffed, Sino didn't even pay attention to that she was too captivated by the car.“Babes my parents love me but they don't love me that much.” She shook her head at her, gesturing for her to get in.“Good evening.” A man with a warm smile said. Sino's eyes found the middle aged man in a black suit with a hat. She smiled warmly at him. “I'm Zakhe, your chauffeur for the day.”“Hi bab'Zakhe.” She got in and settled in the spacious limo. It didn't quite meet her expectations though, she had expected a disco ball with music and a pole just like in the movies, clearly her imagination had gone a little wild. She looked back at her friend when something popped in her mind. “Wait, if your parents didn't-”“It was Sanele, he sent the limo and everything else with it, speaking of which let's have some champagne baby.”She sang song as she said the last words to which Sino shook her head. Mbali and liquor were an inseparable mix. She had sensed that her friend's boyfriend was rich just by looking at his attire, everything about him had screamed money the moment she had seen him, but what she didn't know was how much considering they were going to an event for wealthy folks.Arriving at the hotel, Sino had been to engrossed in her thoughts about a certain man who had almost drove her over and had interacted with her weirdly yet amusingly. She scoffed at no one in particular, just her thoughts irritating her more as if she couldn't stop thinking about him, she didn't know him, not his name nothing, all she knew was that he threatened her then admired her, leaving her confused. Then why was she so drawn to him. Her thoughts were disturbed by an exasperated Mbali who had been waving her hand in her face to catch her attention unsuccessfully.“Hello Alice come back from wonderland!” She popped her eyes at her, realizing they had ended at the venue and the only thing keeping them from going in was her and her thoughts.“Well, let's go.”“Weirdo, what the hell you been lost in anyway?” She shook her head.Sino decided not to tell her anything, it was embarrassing enough to her that she was thinking about a man she didn't know at all, having to tell someone else was not an option.“Just school stuff, shall we?” She quickly deflected the topic, thankful that Mbali had bought her lie and set the topic aside. They got off the car, with both girls thanking the kind man who driven them. They walked to the entrance.“Lemme inform him we here.”“Couldn't you have done that five minutes before we arrived, it's shit cold out here.” Sino grumbled.“Don't be a drama queen.” She said before pressing her phone on her ear. Sino couldn't hear much on the other line but judging from how fast the call ended it was just a straight away answer, he probably was on his way.Minutes later they walked in the elevator to the main floor where the event had been held. Arriving at the door, they were met with a young white lady holding a clipboard.“Good evening, names please.” She had said in a welcoming tone and a warm smile, making it easy for the girls to reciprocate it.Before Mbali could address the matter, a deep voice beat her to it. “They're my guests.” The heads whipped behind them to the source of the voice, standing tall in his armani gray suit with no tie, Sanele smiled at his girlfriend.“Oh Mr Nkosi, sorry, you may go through.” They nodded and smiled at the nice lady, although Sino held her laugh at the mispronouncian of Sanele's last name. She didn't blame her though, it was probably hard for her to perfect some African words. They walked through the big doors. Sino's jaw dropped for what seemed to be the second time. The interior was absolutely gorgeous, a huge chandelier hung on the inner part of the hall.Everything seemed to be in gold and black. The chairs surrounded round tables where some people sat already. The big stage had a group of people who seemed to be musicians with musical instruments. Soft music played, people conversed lightly, even laughter was heard. They probably talked about how rich they were, it was the typical mind of rich people to brag about the things they possessed. But then again, it was a typical poor persons' mentality to think rich people were the same. A waiter stood in front of them with appetizers, Sino loved her food so she didn't mind taking some at all.She grabbed about five of them, she chewed on three of them. Feeling gazes at her she turned to find Mbali and Sanele looking at her, Mbali had a knowing look as she nodded, probably had expected that. Sanele held a smirk as he shook his head amused by her unrestricted personality. Then she remembered that she had a date tonight, where was he? As if on cue. “Right, here goes my brother.” He gestured to the same door they had used.Sino quickly took a napkin to wipe her hands and her face, not wanting to leave a bad first impression to her date, mostly not wanting to embarrass her friend. She turned around with a smile, ready to greet the man she had been set up with. Her eyes went wide at the sight in front of her, her mouth hung open, completely dry. What was he doing here?SiyaThat girl, why can't I stop thinking about her, the way she tried to act tough at the beginning. It was cute how quickly her demeanor changed when I mentioned killing. I wasn't joking though, I would have killed her with no remorse and hid her body where no one could find it. But she was too cute and very fascinating. A small smile creeped on my face but I quickly removed it, why the hell was I smiling? I didn't know her. Why didn't I get her name again? I just want to see her again, even though my subconscious kept telling me that it probably wasn't a good idea to be fancying a girl. But my stupid organ seemed to disagree with that. It wanted to see her again, pull her closer to me again, to see her eyes again. I shook my head and made my way to the stupid event. You know sometimes my brother can be a dick. How do you set someone up without their consent? He's too whipped to think straight.Siya: Alright, let's get this shit over with.I carried dominant strides to the elevat
SinoSiya took me to his car, Mbali had sneaked out with her boyfriend to wherever. So that left me with this man that held some kinda wizardry on me, to take me home. He opened his door, I got in and he went up to the seat and got in. I was immediately engulfed by the scent of the car, the smooth yet hard material of the leather seats. Gosh, this car was gorgeous! The drive was silent with music playing on the radio. I saw how Siya kept glancing at me now and then. But I acted oblivious to him, as I hummed along to the song playing on the radio.“Do you believe in fate Sinoxolo?” I turned to look at him, but he wasn't looking at me, instead focusing on the road. I didn't miss how my name rolled off his tongue like it belonged there.“Something like that, why?” Siya took a turn, his one hand on his lips, his fingers playing with his bottom lip. His other hand on the steering wheel, making that turn. I looked away when I saw that I was ogling at him.“ I think we met for a reason don'
SiyaI clenched my hands into fists, pissed as hell. “What the fuck!?” I bellowed to no one in particular. I watched as Muzi lowered his head. My ex-girlfriend decided to take my child to her mother's and left her there. She fucking left my little girl in the fucking villages. I'm going to kill her!“Get the jet ready now!” I shouted as I took my gun tucking it on my waist and fixing my blazer. “Sho bossa” (yes boss) He sprinted to the car and opened the door for me.On the way, I tried dialing her number, sent me straight to voicemail. I cursed, almost tossing my phone out the window. We arrived at the airport soon after. I didn't waste any time, immediately leading the way to the family jet. I was in Eastern Cape in a matter of an hour and a half. I didn't have time to waste lodging around and instead made my way to the village. I approached the unfamiliar house of Sam's mother. It was okay for a house in the villages, nicely painted and clean on the outside.I knocked on the door
SinoI brushed a few strands of my afro that had came off and tied my hair into a bun. I took my bag and phone. I went downstairs for breakfast feeling like any other day, gloomy. Mbali had tried to cheer me up for the whole three weeks, but ended up unsuccessfully. He just left and said he would be back, then nothing. He didn't come back, he didn't call, I mean sure I didn't give him my number but Sanele could've right? If he had them. Okay, I doubted it would have been that hard for him to get my numbers, which brings me to the conclusion that he didn't want them. I sounded stupid in my head. Not wanting to dwell on the matter so early in the morning, I took an apple instead and made my way out, Mbali had no class today. I didn't bother waking her up. Campus was a 10 minutes walk which I gracefully took with my headphones on. Some random car hooted at me, freaking the hell out of me. I immediately whirled in time for it not to hit me, the driver just sped off, dick!I fixed my e
SiyaI drove off from my mothers house after dropping Jade off. My mother had offered to babysit for me, I've taken my time from work and anything else to focus on my relationship with Jade, I spent three weeks with her, just us going on dates and having slumber parties. I never wanted her to feel like she needed Sam for anything, I was here for her, and I would be a mother as much as I was her father.I parked at my brother's house. I didn't even knock, just barged in there, I found him where I had expected to find him, the study.“This is not your mother's house you cunt.” I rolled my eyes. Like I cared.“Ngizo'mnjele uma” (I'll tell Mother) I knew I sounded like a child. That's how my brother and I acted around each other, childishly.“Pussy!” He smirked. I flipped him off.I sat on the chair in his study office, with my glass of rum in my hand which I had gladly took from Sanele. He looked like he was contemplating on doing something. “What's wrong with you?”I sipped on my alcoho
Sino“Come on, turn,” I twirled for her to see the third short dress she had made me wear, mind you against my will. She tapped on her chin in what seemed to be thinking. I sighed and fumbled with the dress, trying to find the zipper.“What are you doing? This is the perfect dress, I think.” She assessed my outfit from head to toe, again.“And I think that this a waste of time, besides I don't even wanna go to the stupid club.” I sulked.“Fine, if I make you wear whatever you want, you'll have no choice but to come with me to a club, deal?” “Whatever I want?” I smirked.“Except for sweats,” Mbali said.“Close enough, fine then go wait somewhere.” She knew so well. Then I shooed her out.“It's not like I haven't seen anything there-”“You utterly disgusting, get out.” I shoved her out of the door and she snorted like a pig. I closed the door and rummaged through my wardrobe for something comfortable to wear. The ankle length jeans held my waist tightly and loosened around my legs and
SiyaShe's taking her time and I've been waiting. As I was about to go outside looking for her, Muzi came up to me, Muzi was the manager of the club. The club was also one of my many businesses. What she didn't know was, I saw her come to the club, I saw her drink like no tomorrow and I saw her dance around with those fuckheads that I so badly wanted to punch in their stupid faces. I was there for some business at my office, it was in the upper compartment of the club where my business negotiations took place.“Yo skhulu you have to see this.” “What is it?” I said.Muzi handed me an iPad, showing the CCTV footage of the back of the club, and what I saw made my eyes turn red with rage. It was not too clear but you could see Sino leaving the club. Then as she went further, a guy came across. After a few seconds of watching I boiled with anger as I saw him grab her. He dragged her to the secluded area, now everyone knows that's a dangerous zone and no one could hear anything from there.
NarratedMbali felt her lower region burning when she woke up, she couldn't even walk properly when she went to the bathroom. She knew she had upset him but to fuck her to numbness was not it. Not that she was complaining. The sex was amazing, and Sanele was gifted in many ways. Soon after, she made her way from the bathroom to the bedroom. She was half limping. Sanele walked in holding a tray in his hands full of food. These girls knew how to eat. Mbali was not having any of that. As she was fuming. Mbali just looked at him and went to look for her things so she could get the hell out of there.“Sit down and eat.” He said lowly.Mbali just continued with what she was doing which was packing her staff and wearing other clothes since she practically stayed at his house since they started dating. Sanele had bought her new clothes for when she was around his house.Sanele was getting agitated, impatient. “Ngikhuluma nawe Mbali.” (I'm talking to you) He sharply said, making her stop in h
