Chapter 1: Nia Froth

On an abandoned road, a black Jeep Wrangler was speeding in the opposite direction from the city of North Bay. The atmosphere outside was calm with nothing visible in the sight except for the illuminated road and vast spread of darkness.

A beautiful girl was lying in the backseat of the car. Her fair skin was looking like porcelain under the light coming from the full moon. Her eyes were covered with a black cloth and her limbs were tied with ropes. She was wearing a beautiful wedding gown and looked like a fallen angel. She was not sleeping but unconscious.

The face of the driver was not visible but his eyes were sparkling in the darkness. It was emitting a certain aura of dominance and cruelty, which could tell the enemies to back off.

Soon, the vehicle left the main road and proceeded into the jungle. The bumpy ride caused her to regain consciousness as by this time the effect of the drug in her body had begun to weather off.

Within seconds of regaining consciousness, the girl understood that something was wrong. She could feel that her limbs were tied and something was used to cover her eyes, too.

She panicked and began to shout deliberately," Help! Anybody Help me!!!"

This commotion drew the attention of the driver towards her and as he looked back at her an evil smile appeared on his lips.

He applied brakes and she could also feel the Vehicle coming to a halt. Her panic increased and all the incidents of girls being tortured, raped and killed after being kidnapped begin to play in her head. She begins to cry and beg," Please! Let me go! My family is not rich! It's my wedding day, today.... sic.... my... my... groom is waiting for me at the wedding hall. Please!!! Let me go!!! I will give you all the money I have.... but please.... let me go..."

The men didn't seem to pay attention to her wailing and took out a syringe from the dashboard. He filled it with a sedative and then, injected it into that girl's body.

As she understood what has happened, she being to shout and call for help but nobody came. The driver didn't even try to stop her from shouting and calling for help. He didn't utter a single word. Soon, she lost consciousness and fell into sleep as the Wrangler proceeds toward its destination.

****#SIX HOURS AGO#****

It was a beautiful Autumn evening. A pleasant breeze was flowing in the city of North Bay. The sun was about to set, and its rays illuminated the leaves of maple trees that had turned into shades of yellow, red, and green. Roads and streets were covered with fresh withered leaves and looked like flowers making the ambiance resemble some beautiful canvas of a painter.

In a small house located on the outskirts of the city, a beautiful girl in her twenties was sitting by the window of her room and looking outside, completely lost in her thoughts.

It was difficult to read her thoughts but her gloomy expressions were telling that she was not happy. Her confusion was written all over her face and her green eyes were reflecting that there was a conflict going on inside her.

Her slightly curly red colored hairs that reached her waist resembled red maple leaves that were scattered on the porch in front of her house. She was fair like fresh snow and had plump red lips.

She was wearing a white bathrobe indicating that she had taken a shower before coming and sitting there. Her long slender legs were exposed, making her look more tempting. She was 165cm tall and had a lean but curvy hourglass figure.

"I should be happy...... it's my big day! Isn't it the day that I have always dreamt of? Then....... why my heart is filled with sadness? Why I am getting a feeling that I am doing something wrong? Everything is perfect.... just the way I have always wanted..... then why this uneasiness?" she asked herself in a low voice.

Then, she turned her head to look at the wedding dress, lying on her bed with mixed emotions. This wedding dress was the same dress that she always wanted to wear on her wedding day. She let out a deep sigh and once again turned her head back to look out of the window.

This girl is Nia Froth. She is the eldest daughter of Jayden Froth and Bella Froth, a couple living in North Bay with their three children- two daughters, and one son. Nia is twenty-three, followed by their son Darien Froth who is seventeen, and their younger daughter Kelli Froth who is fourteen. While Darien and Kelli are still in school, Nia is a graduate and owns a small restaurant in the city. Mr. Froth is an accountant and had been working with one of the oldest banks in the city while Mrs. Froth left her job years ago and became a homemaker.

It was an important day for the Froth Family and their house was bustling with relatives. It was Nia's wedding day. There was an atmosphere of celebration and everybody seemed to be in a hurry while Nia sat in her room looking out of the window unbothered.

She was getting married to her boyfriend Eric Wayden but there was no excitement on her face. She was also not able to understand these strange feelings developing in her heart.

Eric Wayden was the one she had always dreamt to be her husband since the day they begin to date each other. He was a perfect boy that every girl would want as their husband. He was well-mannered, smart, handsome, and successful too. There was not a single reason for her to feel what she was feeling at that moment.

"Nia!! Nia!!! Where are you girl?" said a voice while opening the door of that room.

It brought Nia out of her thoughts and she looked in the direction of the door of her room. She had recognized this voice as she stood up to receive that person.

A girl of the same age and height as Nia entered the room with a bright smile on her face. She was fair with black hair and a pair of brown eyes. She was wearing a yellow floral top and blue denim while her hands were full of carry bags. She had excitement written all over her face. She rushed in after throwing her bags carelessly on the floor and ran towards Nia to hug her. It was Stacy Miller, Nia's best friend.

She had come over to take her to the beauty salon to get her ready for the wedding ceremony. The wedding ceremony was going to take place at a wedding hall booked by the two families which were not very far from there.

The two girls had planned to directly reach the wedding hall after getting ready at the salon as there wasn't much time left for the ceremony to begin. Stacy was shocked to see Nia still in her bathing robe. She had expected her to be ready by that time so they could leave immediately.

Nia tried her best to mask her feelings from her best friend but couldn't. Stacy could tell with one look that something was not right. As both of them settled down, She asked her about it, directly.

" What is it? Tell me!" asked Stacy in a demanding tone.
