Chapter 3: The desperate search

In North Bay, Nia's family and friends were desperately searching for her. They tried to call her on phone but her number was coming switch off. This increased their heartbeats because Nia never turned her phone off. She always kept it mind to keep her phone charged so that its battery don't die during any emergency. All the guest had arrived and the ceremony was about to begin but Nia was nowhere to be found.

Her desperate parents informed her groom Eric about her being missing and he also joined the search with his friends. They found her phone in her purse in the bridal room. It was turned off and they switched it on to check if they could find some clue in it but again, there was nothing in it. 

After searching for an hour, the Family decided to call the cops. The cops were also surprised as there was nothing that she had taken with her. All of her belongings were there except her wedding dress. She didn't even take her purse or any ID with her, so there was no doubt that she has not gone somewhere by herself. It was clearly looking like a case of kidnapping but the question was... Who kidnapped her? and Why?

It was a serious matter and Police sprung into action as soon as they were informed. Eric had some connections with people in the political domain and as he pulled the strings, the pressure on the Police department increased. They begin to ask people present at the venue and looked for clues but despite trying hard they could not find anything that would prove helpful.

They even tried asking her close friends and family if she had any enemies, but everybody denied it saying she was a kind person with a pure heart and had no enemies. 

The wedding was called off and everybody was sent home except family members and close friends.

The day that was supposed to be one of the happiest days for the Froth family turned into one of their worst nightmares. They were not worried about their reputation or being mocked by people, they were only concerned about the safety of their daughter. Jyaden and Bella were sure that Nia would never run away like that on her own because she was a responsible person. They were confident that she was abducted by someone. Jayden and Eric were working with the Police to assist them in the investigation, while Bella was crying as she was worried about the safety of her daughter. 

Darien and Kelli were trying to console their mother while Stacy was standing at some distance lost in her thoughts. She was still trying to process what had happened. She went out for mere ten minutes and she was sure in those ten minutes nobody came out or went inside the bridal room.... then, how was it possible? Did she vanish in thin air? 

This was something the police officers were also trying to find out. While one team was searching for her in the nearby areas, one team was going through the CCTV cameras so that they could find something or someone suspicious, which could help them in investigating further. 

While at North Bay, her family and Police were searching for Nia anxiously, she was being taken away in a black Jeep Wrangler. It was when she gained consciousness for a few minutes did she realize that she was kidnapped by someone and was being taken away to god knows where. 

She was unaware that her fate was taking her on a path from which there was no turning back. 

The driver of the jeep kept driving for twelve hours straight before finally coming to a halt. He was looking at something on the roadside that brought a mysterious smile to his lips. There was a board on the roadside with " Welcome to Orizona" written over it in black. 

He looked back at the beautiful girl in the wedding dress lying on the back seat. After seeing that she was still unconscious, he turned back and pressed on the gas. After going a few kilometers into the jungle, he stopped at a place. It was looking like a post and was being guarded by a few men who were carrying weapons. From a distance, it looked like a military arrangement but those people were not wearing military uniforms. 

When that man got down, he was still wearing his mask. He was tall ( about Six feet three inches). Anybody could tell by looking at him that he had a well-toned body. He was wearing black clothes and white sports shoes. Except for his grey eyes, nothing else was visible. He exhibited a dominating aura that could compel people to bow before him. There was something in him that was enough to convey that he was not an ordinary man.

As soon as he got off his car, those men came running toward him. He kept standing there without showing any sign of surprise or shock. He didn't even move an inch and stood there totally unconcerned. Those men stopped at a few hand's distance from him and went down on one knee. They bow their heads to greet him as if he was their leader. He dismissed them with a hand gesture and then asked one of them to bring something for him. All the men stood up and arranged themselves in a line while that man (whom he asked to fetch something for him) immediately ran into the woods at full speed.

Soon, a red Mercedes Benz arrived, and that same man got out of it. He ran towards the masked men and bent on his knees before offering the keys to his car. That masked man took the keys from him and dismissed him. Then, he went towards the black jeep and opened the back door. Nia was still lying unconscious and unaware of what was happening around her. 

He commanded all the men present there to close their eyes and keep them shut until he asked them to. All of them obeyed immediately. They closed their eyes and turned their backs toward him. The masked men then picked Nia up in a bridal style and placed her in the back seat of the Mercedes Benz. Then, he went and sat in the driver's seat. As he drove and passed by those men, he threw the keys of his jeep towards them. The men who had brought the Mercedes Benz earlier caught it with lightning speed as they watched the red car speed off into the jungle.
